(Japanese: チャオブー Chaoboo) is a dual-type Fire/Fighting Pokémon introduced in Generation V.
It evolves from Tepig starting at level 17, and evolves into Emboar starting at level 36.
Biology
Physiology
Chaoboo is a chubby pig-like Pokémon that sports orange, black, and yellow coloration. Tiny beginnings of tusks protrude from the lower jaw of its wide mouth, and its black, tapered ears are on the top of its head. The black coloration from there extends down to its nose, which, like its pre-evolution Tepig, is red and piglike. Black coloration encompasses the shoulders, sides, and underbelly of Chaoboo, which could be said to resemble the garb of a wrestler of some sort. Gold-colored, swirling features adorn its chest on the black pattern, and the pattern forms spiky shapes on the lower underbelly. The forelimbs of Chaoboo have glove-like patterns, with gold bands at the “wrists” and black at the tips of the “hands”, which have two claws. Its legs are small with a single nailed toe, and its curled, wiry black tail is tipped with a puffy feature.

Trivia
Origin
Chaoboo is based on a pig or boar in a professional wrestler's or possibly a lucha libre's attire. It, its prevolution and its evolution, as stated by Ken Sugimori, were designed in a Chinese style. Because of its Chinese origin, it may have been based on Zhu Bajie, a pig demon from the Chinese tale Journey to the West. Infernape is also based on another character from the novel, Sun Wukong, and has a similar design.
Name origin
Its name seems to come from the Chinese 超 chāo (super) or 炒 chǎo (sauté), and the Japanese 豚 buta (pig); or ブー bū, (oink).
