Trivia
- No other Pokémon share its type combination with Warubiaru and its evolutionary line.
- Warubiaru is the only Pokémon with a base stat total of 509.
Origin
Warubiaru seems to be based on the Baryonyx, a fish-eating, slender-snouted dinosaur which heavily resembled a crocodilian. Like Meguroko, it is also based on a crocodile, more specifically a slender-snouted crocodile. It may also be based on a gang leader or criminal, as its eyes bear great resemblance to the sunglasses Ash's Squirtle wears during its time as a member of the Squirtle Squad in its criminal days.
