From Bulbapedia, the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia.
This is the Bulbapedia walkthrough for Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!.
These pages follow the remade Nintendo Switch iteration, not Pokémon Yellow. The guide for that game can be found here.
Indigo Plateau
The Man, The Myth, The Legend
Another legendary Trainer can be found outside the Pokémon League building at Indigo Plateau. To trigger Red's appearance, you must defeat six of the Master Trainers scattered across Kanto. After doing so, use Sky Dash to return to the building's main entrance; Red can be seen to the west, beyond the row of pillars. Approach him with a full team of six Pokémon and he readies a Poké Ball; you are then given the option to battle. Red battles under the same conditions as the Master Trainers, so using items is prohibited. Choosing to run will forfeit the battle, but losing does not result in losing any money. Defeating him earns you the title of Battle Master, which may be displayed in link battles against other Trainers. He will depart following his defeat, but does return for a potential rematch whenever you re-enter the Hall of Fame.
Indigo League
The eight Gym Leaders and the elite Trainers at Indigo Plateau have all continued their training after losing to you. Challenge each one again to prove that your first victory was not just luck!

The Director's Challenge
The director is still waiting to see your completed Pokédex. There are currently 150 known species. Once you record data on all of them, aside from a few certain exceptions, the director rewards you with a special Diploma to mark your achievment. He also gives you a Shiny Charm, a trinket that boosts the odds of encountering wild Shiny Pokémon.

Having been defeated, Archer calms down and reads the letter he's been drafting for you. He congratulates you on surpassing the Pokémon League and reveals that he intends to leave Kanto in order to establish a new, stronger Team Rocket in the future. He questions himself for writing such a letter and tears it to shreds before bidding you farewell, never to be seen again.
