Trivia

- The back sprite of Marowak in Generation 1 shows it has bone-like spikes on its back. This has been dropped in the later versions.
Origin
Name origin
Marowak's name might be a combination of marrow and whack. Garagara may be taken to mean がらがら, clattering. It is worth noting that garagara denotes heavier clattering than Template:P2.
