In the core series games

Atticus has an eye for fashion, having designed the costumes of all the squad bosses. He is highly regarded for his passion and technique in conceptualizing and making unique fashion designs.[1]

While enrolled in the academy, Atticus was bullied for liking old-fashioned things. He is close friends with fellow Academy student Youssef.

Atticus awards the player with Team Star's Poison Badge and TM102 (Gunk Shot) upon his defeat. Additionally, his defeat allows the player to craft the following TMs using the TM Machine:

Main article: Atticus (Paldean Fates 77)

Atticus was introduced as a Supporter card in the Pokémon Trading Card Game during the English Scarlet & Violet Series (the Japanese Scarlet & Violet Era). It was first released as a Japanese SV-P Promotional card before being included in the Paldean Fates expansion, with artwork by kantaro. It allows players to shuffle their hand into their deck and draw 7 cards, but only if their opponent's Active Pokémon is Poisoned.

  • Atticus's speech pattern is reminiscent of Shakespearean English.
  • Atticus is a Poison-type specialist who self-identifies as a ninja, a trait he shares with Koga, Janine, and Nene.
  • The entirety of Atticus's team in his first battle consists of underleveled Pokémon, as Stunky, Grimer, and Varoom don't evolve until level 34, 38, and 40, respectively.
