A Manectite in Pokémon Adventures
In the Pokémon Adventures manga
A Manectite first appeared in PS565, where Clemont helped X and his friends find it at Route 5. Unfortunately, a Team Flare Grunt tasked in collecting Mega Stones had also found the stone, and escaped with it. X, Trevor, and a Manectric, who had gotten the group into searching the stone to begin with, chased the Grunt to Parfum Palace, where they eventually managed to get the stone back. The Manectric, which had joined X's party with the nickname "Élec" during the chase, subsequently used the stone to Mega Evolve and send the Grunt running away. Élec would then start wearing the Manectite in his mane, allowing him to Mega Evolve whenever it is necessary.
