Chillarmy Coast (Japanese: チラーミィかいがん) is a training course in Battle and Get! Pokémon Typing DS and is located in the Blue Area, on the C key. It is available after completing #Digda Ridge, or early by scoring 4000 points or more the first time #Kamex Resort is played. Since the Pokémon on this course are not caught using Typing Balls, they are not counted in the Research Notes. The maximum score for this course is 35200. It is a long beach where Pokémon roll balls with letters on. It is used to practice typing using the three fingers of each hand furthest from the thumb.

By typing in the letters on the balls, Pokémon pop out from them. Players may rarely find that instead of a Minccino, Panpour or Azurill, balls hide Vaporeon.

Medals

Bronze: Type the letters on the balls and keep going until the end!

Silver: Type the letters on 10 consecutive balls without making a mistake!

Gold: Type the letters on 20 consecutive balls without making a mistake!

Planet Temple (Japanese: わくせいしんでん) is an unlockable course in Battle and Get! Pokémon Typing DS and is located in the Purple Area, on the → key. It is a temple in outer space where meteorites that scare Pokémon commonly fall, available after completing #Deep Dark Sea.

At the end of the temple lies an altar where the Dark Stone and Light Stone reside for you to type, and depending on which you choose you will fight either Reshiram or Zekrom, who can each be fought at Levels 50, 70 and 100. They attack with Fusion Flare and Fusion Bolt, and at higher levels the opposite legendary will occasionally appear to use its Fusion move. When that happens, there are twice as many letters to type when the legendary you are fighting uses its Fusion move again.

It is Eiji's dream to reach the Planet Temple and investigate Reshiram and Zekrom, which the player finally fulfills.

List of Pokémon by Research Notes order

This list is a record of the official Japanese spellings for Pokémon names. Names are listed by number in the order dictated by the Research Notes in Battle and Get! Pokemon Typing DS, meaning that Pokémon beginning with the kana 'A' will appear first, followed by those with 'I', 'U', 'E', and subsequent kana.

Columns

  • Japanese: The official original name as dictated by Nintendo Company Ltd. of Japan and written in katakana. In most cases, this is the spelling found in all Japanese video games and most other official material. It is transliterated into romaji as written in the Research Notes to be typed.
  • English: The official localize name as dictated by Nintendo of America and used in all English-language games and merchandise.
  • Trademarked romaji: The official romaji name as given on the trademark filings. This spelling is used internally by Game Freak and is frequently used on official merchandise and other promotional material. Names based on English words often should be read as if they are English words, as opposed to Japanese. For example, Habunake, being the Romaji translation of ハブネーク, should be pronounced "Ha-bu-nake" as opposed to "Ha-bu-na-ke" if it were a Japanese name. Some are just exact transliterations of the name into romaji.

The trademarked romaji names of new Pokémon will be added as their names become available to the public.
