Trivia
- Though an alternate colored Breloom that was once shown in the anime was dark blue with a green lower neck, the real shiny form of Breloom is red.
- Breloom is considered one of the most fearsome Pokémon in competitive play because of its imposing Attack stat and its reliable sleep-inducing move. For these reasons, it is very commonly used.
- No other Pokémon has the same type combination as Breloom.
Origin
Breloom is based on a mushroom.
Name origin
Breloom's name may be a combination of umbrella and mushroom. Its Japanese name is likely a combination of 茸 kinoko, mushrooms, and 傘 kasa, umbrella.
