Ketch Appy (Japanese: ケッチちゃん Ketch-chan), often referred to as Pokétch Detective Ketch Appy (Japanese: ポケッチデカのケッチちゃん Pokétch Detective Ketch-chan), is a minor character introduced in Pokémon Platinum.
She is the star of her own television program aired on Jubilife TV, in which she is often billed as a "child prodigy". In the program, she is a detective who uses the Pokétch to solve crimes. However, most of her plans are usually disrupted by errors she makes in using it, such as forgetting that the Memo Pad app resets if the app on the Pokétch is changed. In this way, her program often serves to give tips on how to use the various apps.

- "It's never a problem! The child prodigy and Pokétch Detective Ketch Appy is here! I'll use my Pokétch to tell me which way the suspect ran. The Coin Toss app will show me the way! Heads, the perpetrator ran right; tails, the other way. Keep running, you crook! Even forks in the road won't faze me! What will you do, Pokétch Detective? What's next, Pokétch Detective? Next, Case File #999: "The Pokétch Is Nice!" Don't miss it!"
- In the Japanese and Korean versions of Pokémon Platinum, Ketch Appy is a girl, as evidenced by the use of the honorific ちゃん -chan and the word しょうじょ shōjo in the Japanese version, with the Korean translation referring to her using the word 소녀 sonyeo. The English and German translations make no mention of her gender, while the Spanish, French, and Italian translations use masculine articles and words when referring to Ketch Appy.
Ketch Appy is left unnamed in the French, Spanish, and Korean translations.
