[[Category:In-game event Pokémon]]

Latest revision as of 10:27, 5 May 2024

For a similar list from Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, see List of in-game event Pokémon (Ruby and Sapphire). For a similar list from Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, see List of in-game event Pokémon (Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire).

This is a list of Pokémon obtainable from events found in Pokémon Emerald. These specific instances of Pokémon can only be obtained once per game; however, some may also be obtained in other ways as well.

List of Pokémon

First partner Pokémon

On Route 101, Professor Birch gets attacked by a wild Zigzagoon (Poochyena in Ruby, Sapphire, Omega Ruby, and Alpha Sapphire), and the player has to use either Treecko, Torchic, or Mudkip to save him.

They have the same starting moveset in Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald, which was later expanded into 3 moves per Pokémon in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

Super-ancient Pokémon

Pokémon Emerald is the only Hoenn-based core series game where both Groudon and Kyogre are available without trading. A level 45 Groudon is exclusive to Ruby and Omega Ruby, while a level 45 Kyogre is exclusive to Sapphire and Alpha Sapphire.

Rayquaza is available in all the Hoenn-based core series games.

Groudon

After entering the Hall of Fame, a researcher inside the Weather Institute will occasionally tell the player about harsh sunlight on either Route 114, 115, 116, or 118. At the specified route, they will discover a newly formed cave - the Terra Cave, where Groudon has been resting since its battle with Kyogre.

Rayquaza is found at the same level and moveset in Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald; it has the same level with a different moveset in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.
