Causes the user to move later on the next turn.

After You (Japanese: おさきにどうぞ After You) is a non-damaging Normal-type move introduced in Generation V.

Effect

The target will move next on the current turn, ignoring priority. After You bypasses accuracy checks to always hit, unless the target is in the semi-invulnerable turn of a move such as Dig or Fly. It fails if the target has already moved on the same turn. After You ignores the effects of Quash. It hits through a substitute.

If powered up by a Normalium Z into Z-After You, the user's Speed stat is raised by one stage.

Generations V to VII

After You fails if the order remains the same after using After You.

Generation VIII onwards

After You no longer fails if the turn order remains the same after using After You.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series

After You has the same effect as Baton Pass. The user switches positions with a teammate, and the switched ally receives a random stat boost. In Gates to Infinity, the user will switch places with the teammate in front, or a random teammate on the floor when used by an enemy. In Super Mystery Dungeon, the user switches with a teammate anywhere on the floor who is ordered first on the team list (or second on the list if the user is listed first).
