Synopsis
As the sun rises over the horizon, Ult, Sableye, Roy, Skeledirge, Captain Pikachu, Liko, Meowscarada, Dot, and Quaquaval approach the edge of Brave Olivine's battlefield. Then, one by one, they look behind them, as a Ditto jumps into Navi's purse and she runs towards them. A Rotom Phone appears and snaps a picture of that moment.
Then, a photo montage begins, featuring the characters in many different situations: the kids and their respective teams together, Ult and Navi arguing at Looker Bureau, with Emma on the background, Liko and Meowscarada putting on a show, Roy's Mega Lucario Z facing Ivor's Mega Falinks, Nidothing recording a video, and the five kids jumping during a sunset. The montage is intercut with the five characters propping up a background with lights and Minior-shaped decoration. Then, the series logo fades in, a white horizontal line slides from the left and overlaps with it, and the halves of a Poké Ball appear on the center before the line splits the screen horizontally.
The five characters are depicted struggling to traverse through rain, wind, and a blizzard before the scene cuts to them eating sandwiches during a picnic. Then, the characters appear exploring different biomes (a forest, plains, and rocky mountains, respectively) before cutting to Navi writing on her notebook as she watches the wild Pokémon living aboard the Brave Olivine eating. Navi appears overseeing Lumiose City's Prism Tower as the other four characters approach her. Liko, Roy, Dot, and Ult recollect over their first Pokémon, and a Dream Ball forms from the background colors as Navi and Ditto watch each other.
Liko, Roy, Dot, and Ult rush forward, with Navi following right behind them, and jump off the Brave Olivine. Dot struggles against the wind, while Liko and Roy hold hands with Navi as a Koraidon and Miraidon fly by. Next, Professors Willow, Neroli, and Phorus are featured, with their backgrounds featuring actions from their respective games, ultimately ending with Captain Pikachu and a Zoroark in a Unite Battle. The treasures of ruin and Loyal Three appear ominously, followed by group shots of the Rising Volt Tacklers and Amethio and his subordinates, Zirc and Onia. Then, Navi is seen alongside Ogerpon, Roy feeds a sandwich to Koraidon, and Liko rides on Miraidon before she and Meowscarada reminisce about their journey so far, with the last shot being of the Rising Volt Tacklers.
