Spurt! (Japanese: スパート！ lit. Supāto!) is the fifth and final Japanese opening theme of Pokémon the Series: Ruby and Sapphire. It debuted in AG166, replacing Battle Frontier, and was last used in AG192, the final episode of Pokémon the Series: Ruby and Sapphire.
It was also used as the Pokémon Sunday ending from PS074 onwards.

Synopsis
May and her Pokémon
All of Ash's Pokémon, including the Pokémon he released, are shown together as silhouettes. Panning shots of all the Pokémon, uncovered, are shown in between. The series logo then appears. All of Ash's Pokémon travel quickly through the air, leaving behind white flash trails.
Ash and the gang are running in an open field with Ash's Larvitar, its mother, and Ash's Pidgeot. They are then seen crossing a log between two cliffs, running along a huge wave with Lapras riding on top of it, and falling from the sky, passing through Ash's Butterfree and the Pink Butterfree. Then, the first six Frontier Brains appear in groups of three. Ash turns around to see all seven Frontier Brains together forming a line to the top, throwing their Frontier Symbols.
A playing card flips multiple times to show various characters. Scott represents the ace of spades, Professor Oak and Tracey represent the jack of clubs, Delia Ketchum and Misty represent the queen of hearts, and Team Rocket represent the joker. After Team Rocket is shown, they are seen physically in extravagant costumes. James is dressed as a juggler with Mime Jr., Jessie is dressed as a card dealer, and Meowth is dressed as a magician. The entire card deck then falls on the trio. The trio pops out of the pile in their regular uniforms, confused, as Wobbuffet pops out of Meowth's hat.
The next scene has two variations. The first version features Ash and Pikachu looking towards the Battle Pyramid, while the second version features Solana and Jack Walker appearing on screen, twirling their Capture Stylers and posing.
Ash and the gang pose together in the ending scene, initially appearing on the screen as quick white flashes.

Trivia
Ash's Butterfree with the yellow scarf
Lapras is not included in the opening two scenes with the rest of Ash's Pokémon.
Donphan does not fly with the other Pokémon after the title was shown.
Beedrill does not appear, most likely due to it having a new Trainer.
Primeape, Charizard, and Squirtle do not appear in the section showcasing released Pokémon, most likely due to being in training and still belonging to Ash.
Errors
May's Combusken using Flamethrower
When Drew appears, May's Combusken is seen using Flamethrower in the air, though it is a move that it cannot use yet. This is the second opening in which May's Combusken is seen using Flamethrower erroneously, the first one being Challenger!!.
