This Celebi was distributed to players who inserted a serial code obtained from purchasing the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console release of Pokémon Gold or Pokémon Silver from September 22, 2017 to September 21, 2018. The serial codes can be used to obtain Celebi from September 22, 2017 to October 31, 2018. The Trainer ID number is based on the release date of Pokémon Gold and Silver in Europe, April 6, 2001.

Ash's Pikachu
These Pikachu will be distributed to players who insert a serial code that will be released on Pokémon.com. The serial code will be able to be used from September 19 to October 30, 2017.
The Pikachu obtained depends on the date the code was redeemed, and the code can be redeemed only once per save file.
When the player collects Pikachu, they are given a Pikashunium Z at the same time.
Original Cap
This special Pikachu is based on Ash's Pikachu during the original series. The level of Pikachu corresponds to both the original series debuting in the first year of the Pokémon anime and the first movie in the original series being the first Pokémon movie overall.
