Bolt Strike (Japanese: らいげき Lightning Strike) is a damage-dealing Electric-type move introduced in Generation V. It is one of the signature moves of Zekrom.
Effect
Bolt Strike inflicts damage and has a 20% chance of paralyzing the target.
Bolt Strike can also be used as part of a Contest Spectacular combination, with the user gaining an extra three appeal points if the move Charge was used in the prior turn.
Generation VIII
Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
Bolt Strike cannot be selected in a battle.
Generation IX
Bolt Strike cannot be selected in a battle, as no available Pokémon can learn it. However, it can be called by Metronome.
