Aipom first appeared in Spell of the Unown, it was owned trainer named Lisa.

A group of Aipom were causing mischief in A Hot Water Battle.

An Aipom made off with one of Delibird's missing presents in Delibird's Dilemma.

In Hocus Pokémon, an Aipom's tear was needed for a spell.

In Channeling the Battle Zone, Ash Ketchum captures an Aipom. Its behavior is similar to that of Ash's Chikorita.
