Hisui (Japanese: ヒスイ地方 Hisui-chihō) is the Pokémon world's Sinnoh as it was known when it was first being settled and discovered. It is the setting of Pokémon Legends: Arceus.
Etymology and design concept
Etymology
Hisui may be derived from 翡翠 hisui (jade) or 祕邃 hisui (arcane), the latter of which is synonymous to Sinnoh's name origin.
Design concept

Being situated in the exact same geographical area as Sinnoh, Hisui is based on the Japanese island of Hokkaido.
