Located in the western section of the woods is the Moss Rock, which allows the player to evolve their Eevee into Leafeon.
Geography
The Heartwood is a massive forested stretch of land that encompasses the entire southeastern sector of the Obsidian Fieldlands, including a narrow stretch of shore in the south central region that goes almost as far out to as Ramanas Island. It is bound by two natural borders: a river and the southern tail of Mount Coronet. Through the heart of the forest, a river flows downstream, due north into the river just before the Tidewater Dam. The river makes several sharp bends on throughout the way. Floodplains are found at points along the river where a bend occurs, being mostly barren aside from some short grasses. A path marked by stone columns and torches that directs the player toward the Grandtree Arena can be accessed from a floodplain a bit upstream. Right before the entrance to the arena marked by tapestries of Lord Kleavor, a fork in the trail follows a U-shaped path through a hillside into the elevated, eastern part of the forest. From here, this path branches to the north and south. The northern path leads to the Oreburrow Tunnel, which is initially blocked off by a boulder which the player can break by sending out one of their Pokémon. The southern path leads to a secluded inlet bordering the Grandtree Arena where Scyther lurk.

Non-fixed alpha Pokémon do not spawn until the player quelled the frenzy of the subregion's noble. Some of the Pokémon marked with (‡) may only spawn near the area's borders.
Trivia
The Heartwood's music is a remix of the theme that plays in Eterna Forest.
