Cobalion (Japanese: コバルオン Cobalon) appeared in the fifteenth feature length Pokémon movie, Kyurem VS. The Sword of Justice.

History

Cobalion is the third of the Swords of Justice to appear, where it watches Virizion and Terrakion train with Keldeo. Later, it spars with Keldeo in a forest area being plagued by a storm. Despite Cobalion's warnings of danger, Keldeo refuses to stop the battle, which Cobalion notes as recklessness.

During their battle, Keldeo demands to know when it will be allowed to battle Kyurem. Cobalion doesn't answer, and instead battles Keldeo with its Sacred Sword. The two Pokémon then share a clash between their weapons.

Later, Cobalion and the other Swords of Justice members wonder if Keldeo has become strong enough to battle Kyurem. Cobalion states that Keldeo hasn't fully learned the weight of its sword and is not ready to face Kyurem in battle. Keldeo tries to convince Cobalion otherwise, but to no avail. Later, Cobalion and the other Swords of Justice notice that Keldeo had snuck away from them to challenge Kyurem.

They chase after Keldeo to Full Court, but arrive too late, as Keldeo has already challenged Kyurem to battle. When Terrakion tries to stop the hopeless fight and save Keldeo, Cobalion tries to stop its comrade by stating that they are not allowed to interfere. This annoys Kyurem, who turns into White Kyurem and freezes the Swords of Justice solid so that they can no longer interrupt the battle.

Later, Keldeo returns with his new friend, Ash, and challenges Kyurem to another battle. As Keldeo battles Kyurem again, Ash works to free Cobalion and the others from the ice. Eventually, the attacks from the battle free Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion from the ice. They thank Ash and his friends, but tell them that Keldeo has to battle Kyurem alone.

After Keldeo loses the battle but is spared by Kyurem, Cobalion takes Ash out of the collapsing mine to safety. Afterward, Cobalion and others induct Keldeo as a member of their group by reciting the Swords of Justice' oath.

Personality and characteristics

Cobalion, as the leader of the Swords of Justice, is described as an inspiration to its teammates by Keldeo. Cobalion is also more alert to Keldeo's skills and refuses to let it face Kyurem due to it being inexperienced.

Terrakion (Japanese: テラキオン Terrakion) appeared in the fifteenth feature length Pokémon movie, Kyurem VS. The Sword of Justice.

History

Terrakion is the second of the Swords of Justice to appear, where it watches Virizion train with Keldeo. Later, it trains with Keldeo in a rocky area. By using its quick speed, Keldeo manages to dodge Terrakion's attacks and gets a hit in. The blow sends Terrakion flying back into a large boulder that falls on top of it. With its strength and Sacred Sword technique, Terrakion lifts the boulder and cleaves it into pieces. The two Pokémon then clash at each other with their blades. Later, it witnesses Cobalion training with Keldeo.

Later, Terrakion and the other Swords of Justice members wonder if Keldeo has become strong enough to battle Kyurem. While Terrakion notes that Keldeo has gotten stronger, Cobalion claims that it still is not ready enough to face it. Keldeo tries to convince Cobalion otherwise, but to no avail. Later, Terrakion and the other Swords of Justice notice that Keldeo had snuck away from them to challenge Kyurem.

They chase after Keldeo to Full Court, but arrive too late, as Keldeo has already challenged Kyurem to battle. Terrakion tries to stop the hopeless fight and save Keldeo, Cobalion tries to stop it by stating that they are not allowed to interfere. This annoys Kyurem, who turns into White Kyurem and freezes the Swords of Justice solid so that they can no longer interrupt the battle.

Later, Keldeo returns with his new friend, Ash, and challenges Kyurem to another battle. As Keldeo battles Kyurem again, Ash works to free Terrakion and the others from the ice. Eventually, the attacks from the battle free Terrakion, Virizion, and Cobalion from the ice. They thank Ash and his friends, but tell them that Keldeo has to battle Kyurem alone.

After Keldeo loses the battle but is spared by Kyurem, Terrakion takes Cilan out of the collapsing mine to safety. Afterward, Terrakion and others induct Keldeo as a member of their group by reciting the Swords of Justice' oath.

Personality and characteristics

According to Keldeo, Terrakion is a very strong Pokémon. It has shown to be very durable, as it took the full force of a falling boulder and easily shrugged it off. Despite this, it is mostly good-spirited, and has a close bond with Keldeo.

Virizion praises Keldeo for being able to find it and continues on with the battle.

As they battle, Virizion eventually uses it Sacred Sword move. Keldeo tries to counter with his own, but is unable to produce a blade. Instead, Keldeo opts for using its horn and the two Pokémon clash at each other with their weapons. Afterwards, it watches Keldeo train with Terrakion and Cobalion.

Later, Virizion and the other Swords of Justice members wonder if Keldeo has become strong enough to battle Kyurem. While Virizion questions if Keldeo is ready enough, Cobalion claims that it isn't. Keldeo tries to convince Cobalion otherwise, but to no avail. Later, Virizion and the other Swords of Justice notice that Keldeo had snuck away from them to challenge Kyurem.

They chase after Keldeo to Full Court, but arrive too late, as Keldeo has already challenged Kyurem to battle. Later, Keldeo returns with his new friend, Ash, and challenges Kyurem to another battle. As Keldeo battles Kyurem again, Ash works to free Virizion and the others from the ice. Eventually, the attacks from the battle free Virizion, Terrakion, and Cobalion from the ice. They thank Ash and his friends, but tell them that Keldeo has to battle Kyurem alone.

After Keldeo loses the battle but is spared by Kyurem, Virizion takes Iris out of the collapsing mine to safety. Afterward, Virizion and others induct Keldeo as a member of their group by reciting the Swords of Justice' oath.
