Bolt Strike (Japanese: らいげき Lightning Strike) is a damage-dealing Electric-type move introduced in Generation V. It is one of the signature moves of Zekrom.

Effect

Bolt Strike inflicts damage and has a 20% chance of paralyzing the target.

Bolt Strike can also be used as part of a Contest Spectacular combination, with the user gaining an extra three appeal points if the move Charge was used in the prior turn.

Conq. The user charges at its target, surrounding itself with a great amount of electricity. It may leave the target with paralysis.
MDGtI It damages enemies. It could also cause the Paralysis status condition. With the Paralysis status, their Travel Speed goes down and they can't attack or use moves.
SMD It damages even faraway Pokémon. It could also cause paralysis.

Zekrom The electric generator inside Zekrom's tail starts to spin and glow light blue with electricity. Zekrom then clenches its fists and its body becomes surrounded in yellow electricity with large yellow lightning bolts coming off of it as well. Zekrom then flies down at the opponent and slams its body into it.
