RKS System (Japanese: ARシステム AR System) is an Ability introduced in Generation VII. It is the signature Ability of Silvally.
Effect
In battle
RKS System changes the type of the Pokémon with this Ability depending on the memory attached.
Gastro Acid, Worry Seed, and Simple Beam fail if the target has the Ability RKS System. Role Play, Skill Swap, Entrainment, and Doodle fail if either Pokémon has RKS System. RKS System cannot be copied by Trace, Power of Alchemy, or Receiver, replaced by Mummy or Lingering Aroma, suppressed by Core Enforcer or Neutralizing Gas, or traded by Wandering Spirit. If a Pokémon other than Silvally obtains RKS System with Imposter or Transform, the Pokémon will copy the form of the target Silvally regardless of its own held item.
Outside of battle
RKS System has no effect outside of battle.

RKS System has been reworked into a skill-independent game mechanic that only Gladion and Silvally use. They can use their unique Trainer move once per battle to change Silvally's type, the type of their Multi-Attack, and the type of their and sync move into that of their targeted opponent's weakness. This also changes Gladion and Silvally's weakness type. After the battle, they return to their Normal typing.
