Core Enforcer (Japanese: コアパニッシャー Core Punisher) is a damage-dealing Dragon-type move introduced in Generation VII. It is one of the signature moves of Zygarde.
It can be upgraded to the special move Nihil Light by Zygarde Complete Forme when Mega Evolved.
Effect
Core Enforcer deals damage. If the target has already used a move or had a Bag item used on it by its Trainer in the same turn, Core Enforcer also suppresses the target's Ability while it remains in battle.
The target's Ability will not be suppressed if Core Enforcer misses or if the target is immune to or protected from the move. It cannot suppress Multitype, Stance Change, Schooling, Comatose, Shields Down, Disguise, RKS System, Battle Bond, Power Construct, or As One.
Generation VIII
Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl
Core Enforcer cannot be selected in a battle.
Generation IX
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Core Enforcer cannot be selected in a battle.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A
If Zygarde knows Core Enforcer when it Mega Evolves, Core Enforcer will become Nihil Light until Zygarde returns to its Complete Forme.
When used by any Pokémon other than Complete Forme Zygarde, Core Enforcer fires a damaging beam in the direction of the target. When used by Complete Forme Zygarde, Core Enforcer instead creates a capital Z on the ground as seen in other games, damaging all targets currently on the Z after a delay.
