ゥ is a dual-type Normal (hex 8D)/Ground (hex 84) glitch Pokémon in Pokémon Red and Blue. As this was one of the first glitch Pokémon documented in the English Pokémon glitch community that contained Japanese text in its name, it was sometimes called "Japanese Symbol" by those unfamiliar with katakana writing system.
ゥ is in the same glitch Pokémon family as PC4SH, Glitch (DB), ゥ ', ♀Pゥ ゥゥT, PkMnaPkMnゥ ♂ fPkMnk, Pゥ ゥ ゥ, and PokéWTrainer. As a result, it shares several characteristics with them, including its Pokédex number of #205, base stats, types, starting moves, and TM/HM learnset.
ゥ evolves into Spearow at Level 9. Its Pokémon Yellow counterpart is ♀ . It can be obtained through the Time Capsule exploit with Meganium, or by trading ♀ . from Yellow.
It will always freeze the game upon encountering in the wild, so it cannot be obtained through the Mew glitch. Its cry is a slowed-down version of Psyduck's.
