Let’s Go to Levincia
After flying to Artazon (East) you’ll be able to travel to Levincia, the next stop on Victory Road. Iono is the Gym Leader here, and she specialises in Electric-types. Make sure you have something that counters this, like a Ground-type before you attempt to take her on. There is a beach just outside of Levincia, where Sandygast and Nacli hang out, both of which are good additions.
On the way to Levincia we’ll pass by the Team Star Schedar Squad's Base, which we want to take on after Iono. As we’ll be returning shortly, you’ll want to unlock the East Province (Area One) Pokémon Center. Once you have unlocked this center, you want to head for Levincia (South).
There are a few rivers between Artazon and Levincia, but since defeating Bombirdier we have the ability to swim. This means that you don’t need to stick to the path, and instead you can cut across the fields and rivers to get to Levincia quickly.
Levincia, City of Lights
Levincia is one of the largest cities in the game and you can find pretty much everything you need there. In particular, you will want to visit Delibird Presents to grab some new held items and Chansey Supply to train your Pokémon. If you are looking to change your style, Levincia's clothing shops sell exclusive sportswear-themed clothes.

Enter the Iono Zone
Iono’s Gym is only slightly down the road from the Levincia (South) Pokémon Center.
Vs. Nemona
Once you enter the gym Nemona will call you, and upon realising you’re in Levincia, she will come and meet you at the gym. She will then challenge you to a battle, before you start your Gym Test. You can turn her down in order to get your party in order, but you do have to battle her before you take on the gym.
It doesn’t matter if you lose this battle. You will not black out, and the story will continue whether you win or lose. She will always have Rockruff and Pawmi in her team, but her final Pokémon depends on your first partner Pokémon. Nemona will Terastallize her first partner Pokémon at the first opportunity.
Win or lose you are then free to take on Iono’s Gym Test.
Start Streaming
Go to the front desk to register, and then walk outside to meet Iono. She will start a stream with you as the special guest, and asks you to find Director Clavell around Levincia. Calling him Mr. Walksabout, she offers you a number of scenes where Clavell is hiding, and your test is finding him in each image.
In the first scene, he’s sitting at a table with a parasol to the right of the screen. Once you click on him, you’ll be challenged by Gym Trainer Marti and his Luxio.
In the second scene, Clavell can be found working in the Pokémon Center. Clicking on him leads to the next gym battle against Michael and his Tynamo and Flaaffy.
For the final scene, Clavell is sat on a boat to the far right of the screen. Once you have found Clavell for the third time you can return to the gym lobby to fight Iono. Remember that your team won’t be healed following the Gym Test, so you might want to go to the Pokémon Center first.

Iono’s Fight
Iono has four Pokémon and they are all Electric-types, except her ace Mismagius, which will terastylize to Electric-type at the first opportunity. She opens with a Wattrel and closes with Mismagius, which has Levitate, meaning that Ground-type moves won’t work. However, they will be very strong against her Bellibolt and Luxio.
Iono is a little jump in difficulty from Giacomo, particularly her Mismagius, which can continually boost its Special Attack with Charge Beam. Make sure you take it out before it gets out of control. She will give you TM048 Volt Switch once you win, which is a great move for repositioning. Defeating Iono will also open up more lessons at the academy.
Geeta will introduce herself once you finish the third gym as the chairwoman of the Pokémon League.
Once you’ve defeated Iono and done your shopping, you can head south of Levincia to take down the next Team Star base.
