This article is about an episode of the Pokémon animated series that has not been dubbed into English. As such, its coverage may contain romanized Japanese names, rather than dub names.
In spite of their disadvantageous situations, everyone is able to adapt accordingly and turn the tide of their respective battles. Roy calms down and waits for an opening, getting Kilowattrel to fly around to attract Moltres's attention while gathering electricity through Wind Power. Coral becomes impatient though, and orders Moltres to attack, resulting in Skeledirge helping out as Roy pulls out his Tera Orb and Terastallizes Kilowattrel into a pure Electric type. A command for Spark from a high altitude from its Trainer results in the Frigatebird Pokémon learning Supercell Slam in the process, although it misses Moltres and hits the floor instead, inflicting crash damage on itself. Roy encourages Kilowattrel to try again and sings with Skeledirge, who uses Torch Song to give the Frigatebird Pokémon's Supercell Slam a boost in power that sends Moltres to the ground. In another area, Ult makes use of Lacey's advice to check the Pokédex, and while he couldn't find information on Gouging Fire, he did learn something about Dragonite. He then Mega Evolves the Dragon Pokémon and has it use Twister to take hold of Gouging Fire's Ancient Power and send it back at the Paradox Pokémon, landing two sets of supereffective attacks at once to end the battle. On Dot's end, she calls out Gholdengo to take Quaxwell's place and find an opening. Chalce attempts to get Arboliva to focus on Tinkaton, but Gholdengo is able to immobilize the Olive Pokémon with Make It Rain long enough for the Hammer Pokémon to defeat it with Gigaton Hammer. With Amethio, he has Zygarde use Thousand Arrows, though Lapras uses Mist to reduce visibility. This ends up being a ruse as Zygarde switches from its 50% Forme to its 10% Forme to attack more efficiently, defeating Lapras with Core Enforcer. Elsewhere, thanks to Hatterene's Healing Wish, Liko Terastallizes her healed Meowscarada and commands her to move around, with Kleavor following her. Sidian realizes Liko's plan too late as Kleavor becomes entangled in Meowscarada's invisible stems, leaving it open to a Terastallization-enhanced Magical Leaf flurry.
As a result of the final attacks in each area, the walls glitch out and the group is no longer isolated, with Amethio spotting Spinel watching them. Pagogotransforms into its Terastal Form to purify the Six Heroes, but Spinel demands for the Super Strong Spheres be used again. Although Coral and Sidian are reluctant, the Explorers use the items on the Six Heroes, completely destroying their bonds and causing them to attack each other indiscriminately. With Amethio’s agreement, Zygarde returns to its 50% Forme and collaborates with Pagogo to create a barrier that displays the memories the Six Heroes have made, hoping to restore their bonds. Spinel scoffs at the attempt, but becomes stunned when the Six Heroes fight back long enough for Pagogo to purify the Laquium from them, transforming into its Stellar Form and Terastallizing the Six Heroes in the process. Spinel shifts his attitude, feigning innocence about his intentions, but Ult is not fooled and declares that the Rising Volt Tacklers will end things on Mount Pericarp before the group leaves the Explorers HQ with the Six Heroes in tow. Once they're gone, Indi and Rubina confirm the recordings are complete to a satisfied Spinel, who pulls up a screen, unaware of Chalce rolling her eyes upon realizing his intentions, and Coral and Sidian beginning to have doubts about the Strong Sphere.
Meanwhile, now free, the Six Heroes return to the wild, promising Zygarde and the Rising Volt Tacklers that they will meet again. Amethio also parts ways with the team, aiming to uncover more of Zygarde’s potential alongside Zirc and Onia, but not before promising to reunite with them at Laqua. With the mission complete, the Rising Volt Tacklers decide to visit Naranja Academy to report their findings and stop the usage of the Strong Spheres. However, Spinel later releases altered footage of the battles to create further distrust against the Rising Volt Tacklers, framing them as criminals who took the Six Heroes from the care of the Explorers when they were found injured on Mount Pericarp, all while preparing for the eventual public release of the Strong Spheres.
In the process, they represent Normal, Dark, Ice, Bug, and Rock of the eighteen required Tera Types they need to purify the Laquium Core, leaving only thirteen types still unaccounted for.
The Rising Volt Tacklers free the remaining Six Heroes and let them roam the world, with the promise to meet again at Laqua when the time comes.
Amethio, Onia, and Zirc leave to investigate the White Zygarde's remaining powers.
For the initial airing of this episode, the Mega Nidothing's Mega Mega! Mega Evolution segment was replaced by a special trailer for the upcoming episodes of the Rising Again arc. This trailer was later uploaded to the official Japanese YouTube channel.
This episode does not contain any eyecatches, instead having the series logo on the screen before and after the commercial break.
