A ball and bomb move (Japanese: 弾(たま)や爆弾(ばくだん)などの技(わざ) ball, bomb, etc. move) is any move that is based on balls or bombs. Ball and bomb moves have some unique properties and effects. The mechanic was introduced in Generation VI.

Ball and bomb moves like Egg Bomb have existed since Generation I, but in Pokémon X and Y, ball and bomb moves became a mechanic.
