Welcome!
Hey, I'm littlmiget123 and I was introduced to Pokemon by my friend, when she watched the show. I was instantly hooked. Now I still watch the show, play the games, etc., etc. I discovered Bulbapedia while looking on Google, and I was amazed at how large the website was. Now, I wanna help in any way possible. If you need me, my e-mail is [email protected] Also, I sprite, so if you want a custom sprite, message me on my talk page or e-mail me, I'll happily accept!
Pokémon Game & Teams
Pokémon Pearl
My first Generation IV game. I got it for my 14th birthday. I have never started over my game because I want to collect every single Pokémon in my computer. My team only consists of five Pokémon because I think having six Pokémon slows down the leveling up process, plus, you have to keep switching Pokémon back and forth for HM Slaves. I got Magmortar as a Level 30 Magby from a friend; I needed a fire type, and Ponyta sucks to me. I have beaten the Elite Four, and all 8 Gym Leaders.
Pokémon Emerald
A game I started a while ago, but never got around to it until lately. My main reason for starting it was to get one of the Hoenn starters for my collection in Pearl. My Pokémon are at surprisingly high levels, mostly because I try to capture all the Pokémon I can. I'm really proud of my team, they really kick butt. Again, here I have an extra slot in my party for my slaves Cut, RockSmash, Flash, Fly, and WaSurfDive.
Anime predictions
To be honest, the new Diamond and Pearl anime seasons aren't all that interesting, but I'll watch it on occation. I think that, with the new HeartGold and SoulSilver games coming out, Ash will travel to Johto once again with Dawn and Brock. Here is what I think will happen:
- Ash beats Volkner in Sunyshore City, he loses the first time, but wins the second time.
- He goes to the Pokémon League and competes, losing in the Top 16.
- Dawn gets all 5 ribbons and competes in the Grand Festival, but loses.
- They all split up, with Ash going back to Pallet, Brock going to the Pewter Gym, and Dawn going back home.
- Prof. Oak tells Ash about the Battle Frontier in Johto and Ash goes, meeting up with Dawn and Brock along the way.
Am I right? Thats how it usually happens. But, we'll see.
Plans on Bulbapedia
I plan to watch the series over, and helping with the Anime sections on all moves, Pokedex entries, and Abilities. Once I finish the series, I will add images to the pages that do not have much, although I have already done so on some pages. I hope to do the attacks for the manga, like I do for the anime, but we'll see.
Fanfiction
I love to write fanfictions, and BTW, I have a Fanfiction account (http://www.fanfiction.net/~littlmiget123), and I am currently writing a Pokémon fanfiction.
Volkner's Pokémon Adventure
The story is about Volkner, who gets bored with his Gym. After losing to Barry, decides to leave the Gym and head to Kanto to collect the eight Gym Badges and compete in the Indigo League. The series takes place during the Heartgold and Soulsilver, like Koga being in the Johto Elite Four, and while also keeping in mind the anime details, like Brock traveling with Ash Ketchum in Sinnoh.
Main Characters
Volkner. The main protogonist of the story, he dreams of competing in the Indigo League and having a Pokémon Adventure. He is a quiet person that doesn't like to be bothered by people. He occationally talks to his childhood friend, Flint. His best Pokémon is Electivire.
Current Team:
Badges obtained:
Alicia. Alicia is Volkner's traveling companion from Saffron City. She dreams to one day be a Pokémon Gym Leader. Her Starter Pokémon is a Charmander named Brazen. She loves all Flying-type Pokémon, and hates Rock-types because they 'Sit on enemies to make them surrender.' Her mother works at Silph Co., so she gets all the prototypes of all the new items they make.
- Created by Serpent's Ballet in a O/C contest.
Current Team:
Zachery. Volkner's top student at his Gym. Volkner appointed him Gym Leader while he's gone. His best Pokémon is Magneton.
Team Rocket. The main bad guys of the series that Volkner and Alicia will encounter thoughout the series. They first encountered Team Rocket in Mt. Moon, then again in Pokémon Tower, and then Silph Co.. Finally, after the defeat of Mewthree in Celadon City, Team Rocket departed.
I hope that you will check it out, just to see how it is. Hey, even review if you want (if you have a Fanfiction.net account!).
Well, this story is almost done. I am also going to make another story, about Lyra, so if you like the story above, keep watching!
Gen. V and Future Games
Well, Generation V has been announced (hang me), which means about 100-200 more Pokemon will come around. I'm hoping that they just stop making new Pokémon after this version. The new Pokémon they showed for Phantom Ruler Z, the shadowed out, looks to me like an evolution of Sandslash, or Lucario. Hopefully, the game will be at least fun, like Diamond and Pearl, but you'll want to play it again and again (I haven't even played Platinum all the way through, because its the same stuff over and over again).
In the games department, I think, they should remake the Firered and Leafgreen versions to the DS with the Generation IV graphics, and be able to capture all the Pokémon like you can in the Johto and Sinnoh games, same with Ruby and Sapphire with Hoenn. Then, after that, they should come out with one big epic grand finale game, that uses the graphics of Pokémon Battle Revolution.
Idea for a 'Grande Finale' game
You create your own Trainer, randomly pick your hometown, and start your journey as a Trainer, Breeder, or Coordinator, traveling to all of the regions in order to compete in the Pokemon League, the Grand Festival, or... uh, a Pokemon Beauty show? I dunno about the Breeder part yet. Also, you wouldn't have to pick the starter Pokemon from that region. Your parents let you have a choice of the Pokemon from around your hometown (e.g. if from Mahogony Town, Tangela, or Magikarp, or even Marill), then it goes to a cutscene of you character going to Prof. Elm's, Oak's, Birch's, etc. and they give you a Pokedex, and 5 Pokeballs. That would be a really awesome game that would never get boring. That's my opinion, however.
Trivia
- The first anime episode I watched was Tentacool & Tentacruel.
- The first Pokémon TCG I got was a Staryu and a Starmie (Starmie is to this day my favorite Pokémon) from a friend. My first holographic card was a Machamp, from the 2 Player Starter Set.
- My first Shiny Pokémon was an Igglybuff from the Odd Egg in my Crystal version, but it froze and I was forced to start it over. I went on later to catch a shiny Machop, then a Machoke in Victory Road (I was very mad about this, if I wanted a shiny Machoke, I could have just evolved my shiny Machop).
