After interacting with a decoration at Peachy's, the player will receive a call on their Rotom Phone from Arven, asking if he can visit the player at their house. After arriving back at the player's home in Cabo Poco, the player finds Arven waiting outside their house, alongside Penny and Nemona, who overheard Arven's phone call and decided to tag along.

The player's friends are invited inside, and they briefly look around the player's room. The player's mother arrives upstairs, delivering a letter from Kieran. The letter explains that he decided to take a brief leave from Blueberry Academy alongside his sister, Carmine, to return to their home in Mossui Town. He invites the player to visit him in Kitakami, also offering to provide tickets for the player's friends.

The player's friends are eager to visit Kitakami, especially Nemona, excited to have the chance to battle the Champion of a "super elite battle academy". They all agree to meet outside Mesagoza's southern gate when they are ready to leave for Kitakami.

At some point when the six of them have arrived at Kitakami, Pecharunt has awoken and fed Toxic Mochi to Carmine. After defeating Nemona, the player is given the chance to battle and catch Pecharunt.

At a different point, the player faces Yukito and Hideko.

Reason: Needs higher resolution, direct feed screenshot of Ogerpon's scene.
  • If the player uses Ogerpon in the battle against Pecharunt, a short scene will play where it showcases visible distress, as Pecharunt was the one responsible for giving the Loyal Three the power to cause her companion's demise.
  • The day that Mochi Mayhem was made publicly accessible is the same day as the annual Japanese tradition of mochitsuki (Japanese: 餅つき).[2]
