The Absolite (Japanese: アブソルナイト Absolnite) is a type of held item introduced in Generation VI. It is the Mega Stone that allows Absol to Mega Evolve into Mega Absol.

In battle
If held by an Absol, allows it to Mega Evolve into Mega Absol if its Trainer has a Key Stone. Each Trainer can only Mega Evolve one Pokémon per battle.
Unaffected by item negating effects (such as Embargo and Klutz). Item manipulating effects (such as Trick and Fling) cannot give Absol an Absolite or remove an Absolite from Absol.
Outside of battle
If held by an Absol, allows it to Mega Evolve into Mega Absol when it performs a Spectacular Talent during a Pokémon Contest Spectacular (ORAS) while its Trainer has a Key Stone. Absol will remain a Mega Absol until the Talent Round ends.

Pokémon Shuffle
In Pokémon Shuffle, the Absolite allows the player to Mega Evolve Absol.
The player can obtain the Absolite by completing Mission Card 10.
The Absolite was also available as a prize during the Mega Absol Competitive Stage. This Competitive Stage ran on the Nintendo 3DS version from October 5 to 12, 2015 and March 22 to 29, 2016. It ran on the Pokémon Shuffle Mobile from March 22 to 29, 2016.
The Absolite enables the following Mega Evolutions:

In the anime
An Absolite belonging to Astrid appeared in Mega Evolution Special I, where it was used to Mega Evolve her Absol to fight Alain and his Mega Charizard X. She used it again during her cameo appearance in Diancie and the Coccoon of Destruction, in which she and Absol fought Ash and his Hawlucha.
In the manga

X & Y arc
In PS585, Tierno and Shauna managed to find an Absolite for Y's Absol, Solsol, allowing her to Mega Evolve her recently caught team member.
Movie adaptations
In Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction, Astrid, her Absol, and the Absolite it holds make brief appearances during their fight with Ash and his Hawlucha.
