Jaw Lock (Japanese: くらいつく Seize with Teeth) is a damage-dealing Dark-type move introduced in Generation VIII. It is the signature move of Chewtle and Drednaw.
Effect
Jaw Lock inflicts damage. It also prevents the user and the target from fleeing or switching out (even if they are allies), unless either of them is already prevented. Jaw Lock does not prevent a Pokémon from switching out with Wimp Out or Emergency Exit or due to Shed Shell, Eject Button, or Red Card.
