Ominous Wind (Japanese: あやしいかぜ Suspicious Wind) is a damage-dealing Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation IV.
Effect
Ominous Wind inflicts damage and has a 10% chance of raising all of the user's stats excluding Accuracy and Evasion by one stage.

- Like the moves Heat Wave and Twister, many Flying-type Pokémon can learn Ominous Wind through the Platinum move tutor, despite its off-typing; this is due to the move's use of wind, which Flying-type Pokémon utilize.
- This move and Heat Wave have the same in game animation, the only difference being the color.
