(Japanese: アーケオス Akeosu) is a dual-type Rock/Flying Pokémon introduced in Generation V.
It evolves from Aaken starting at level 37.
Biology
Physiology
Akeosu is a large, flying creature that bears similarities to both birds and reptiles. Its featherless head is colored green, with red scutes, and its body is covered in frizzy, yellowish feathers. It has four blue wings; two on its arms, and two on its legs. All of its wings bear sharp claws. Similarly to its head and neck, its tail is featherless, but bears a pygostyle-like fan of feathers at the end. Its mouth is filled with sharp teeth. Its eyes are white with black pupils and no irises.
Gender differences
Special abilities
Akeosu is adept at both running and flying to catch its prey. It is a cursorial predator that can outrun an automobile.
