Soundproof (Japanese: ぼうおん Soundproof) is an Ability introduced in Generation III.
Effect
In battle
Soundproof makes the Pokémon immune to sound-based moves.
Generations III and IV
Pokémon with Soundproof are immune to all sound-based moves, including their own. Pokémon with Soundproof, including inactive Pokémon, are not affected by Heal Bell.

Generation V
Pokémon with Soundproof can now be affected by Heal Bell.
Generation VI to VII
Active Pokémon with Soundproof cannot be affected by Heal Bell. (Inactive Pokémon can be affected by Heal Bell even if they have Soundproof.)
