Shadow Bone (Japanese: シャドーボーン Shadow Bone) is a damage-dealing Ghost-type move introduced in Generation VII. It is one of the signature moves of Alolan Marowak.
Effect
Generation VII
Shadow Bone does damage and has a 20% chance of lowering the target's Defense stat by one stage.
Generation VIII
In Versions 1.0 to 1.1.1 of Pokémon Sword and Shield, Shadow Bone cannot be selected in a battle. Starting with Version 1.2.0, it can be selected and functions as it did in the previous generation.
