Each item has an index number that identifies it in any game. The following list enumerates them according to the way they are stored in the Generation VII Nintendo 3DS games.
List
Rows highlighted in light red indicate items exclusive to Pokémon Sun and Moon (and perhaps Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, depending on the adjacent rows); rows highlighted in dark red indicate items introduced in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon; and rows highlighted in yellow indicate items introduced in Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!.
|
Changes
Coming into Generation VII, the sprites of two items were changed.
|
Within the generation, the Key Stone and Sparkling Stone were also changed. For the Let's Go games, the sprites of the Gold Teeth, Lift Key, Secret Key, Silph Scope, and Tea were updated, since they had not been present since before Generation IV (when items stabilized but some unused items were dropped). The Razz Berry and Nanab Berry were also changed for the Let's Go games, but were changed back in the next generation.
