Incense

Incenses are a special class of held items that help Pokémon to breed differently. This allows Pokémon to produce eggs containing baby Pokémon that were introduced beyond Generation II.

Notably, all baby Pokémon which result from Incense breeding have different egg move lists than their evolved forms. For example, Azurill can learn Fake Tears through breeding while Marill cannot, and Marill can learn Aqua Jet through breeding while Azurill cannot.

Luck Incense

• Pokémon affected: Causes Chansey and Blissey to produce a Happiny egg while at the Pokémon Daycare.
• Notes: Also doubles money received from battles. Does not stack with the Amulet Coin.

Odd Incense

• Pokémon affected: Causes Mr. Mime to produce a Mime Jr. egg while at the Pokémon Daycare.
• Notes: Also raises the power of Psychic-type moves.

Pure Incense

• Pokémon affected: Causes Chimecho to produce a Chingling egg while at the Pokémon Daycare.
• Notes: Also lowers wild Pokémon encounter rate.

• Pokémon affected: Causes Roselia and Roserade to produce a Budew egg while at the Pokémon Daycare.
• Notes: Also raises the power of Grass-type moves.

• Pokémon affected: Causes Sudowoodo to produce a Bonsly egg while at the Pokémon Daycare.
• Notes: Also raises the power of Rock-type moves.

• Pokémon affected: Causes Marill and Azumarill to produce an Azurill egg while at the Pokémon Daycare.
• Notes: Also enhances Water-type moves by 5%.
