From Bulbapedia, the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia.

Jump to: navigation, search

The Jaw Fossil (Japanese: アゴのカセキ Jaw Fossil) and the Sail Fossil (Japanese: ヒレのカセキ Sail Fossil) are Fossils which can be regenerated into Tyrunt and Amaura, respectively.

In the games

In X and Y, the Jaw and Sail Fossils are found in Glittering Cave, where the player can choose which of the two Fossils they would like to take after defeating Team Flare in the cave. The Fossil not chosen is given to Serena* or Calem*.

The Fossils can be revived in the Fossil Lab in Ambrette Town.
