Menacing Moonraze Maelstrom (Japanese: ムーンライトブラスター Moonlight Blaster) is a damage-dealing Ghost-type Z-Move introduced in Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. It is the exclusive Z-Move of Lunala and Dawn Wings Necrozma and a transformed version of their Moongeist Beam.

Effect

Menacing Moonraze Maelstrom deals damage, ignoring the target's Ability.

Description

Games Description
USUM After obtaining Z-Power, the user, Lunala, attacks the target with full force. This move can ignore the effect of the target's Ability.

Learnset

Lunala or Dawn Wings Necrozma can use Menacing Moonraze Maelstrom if it knows Moongeist Beam, holds a Lunalium Z, and if its Trainer wears a Z-Power Ring.

The user's Trainer turns the Lunalium Z in their Z-Power Ring and strikes a pose on top of the user. Then, it emits six sinister rays to attack the target.

792 Lunala Lunala's Trainer turns Lunalium Z clockwise in their Z-Power Ring and strikes a series of synchronized poses to build Z-Power. Lunala then flies into it air and activates its Full Moon phase to unleash six blue beams that blast the opponent.
