Golbat (Japanese: ゴルバット Golbat, German: Golbat, French: Nosferalto, Korean: 골뱃 Golbes) is a Poison/Flying-type Pokémon. It is a very common sight in many caves later on in all handheld Pokémon RPGs.

Golbat has the ability Inner Focus, which prevents flinching.

Golbat evolves from Zubat starting at Level 22, then into Crobat when it grows a level and its Tameness is 220 or above.

Pokédex entries

Pokémon Yellow
Emits ultrasonic cries while it flies. They act as a sonar used to check for objects in its way.
Pokémon Emerald
Its fangs easily puncture even thick animal hide. It loves to feast on the blood of people and Pokémon. It flits about in darkness and strikes from behind.

Name origin

Golbat's name is obviously inspired by the word bat.
