Defog is a non-damaging Template:Type2 move, introduced in Generation IV. The HM containing the move can be found in Sinnoh's Great Marsh, right inside the entrance.
Defog cannot be used outside of battle without the Pastoria City Gym badge.
Effect
Defog clears away fog and in-battle obstacles on your opponent's side of the field, including Light Screen, Reflect, Safeguard, Mist, Spikes, Toxic Spikes, and Stealth Rock, and lowers the foe's Evasion one stage.
In the anime
