Trivia

Origin

Crobat is, obviously, based on a bat.

Name origin

Crobat's name is a combination of cross and bat. It may also be a combination of 黒 kuro, black, and English bat. The French corruption seems to imply Nightly Hell, nost for nocturne, or it could just be a corruption of Nosferatu (just like its previous forms). Or it might be based on "crowbar", reffering to the position of the horns on the top of its head.
