Template:Type effectiveness
Can you take a look at this template, to see if it's good for the mainspace, when more information for the Fairy type is released? Thanks. — Reshi643 19:55, 2 August 2013 (UTC)
- I took a look and it looks good to me. I'll have a few other staff members look over it as well for good measure. --Pokemaster97 20:13, 2 August 2013 (UTC)

Game Systems
There any many emulators of Nintendo Gaming Systems. Shouldn't Bulbapedia have a small article about that since users play Pokemon Games on their PCs too ? SuperPikaPool13 (talk) 10:14, 15 August 2013 (UTC)
- The use of emulators and ROMs are a copyright violation and are used for illegal gameplay of Pokémon games, something that Bulbapedia or Bulbagarden as a whole, shouldn't be promoting. --Pokemaster97 15:15, 15 August 2013 (UTC)
- The only emulator that we could talk about would be the emulator used by the Virtual Console. (Even then, the only games that are related to the Pokémon series are Pokémon Snap, Pokémon Puzzle League, and Super Smash Bros.) --Super goku (talk) 16:49, 15 August 2013 (UTC)

I created an art work of the national pokedex on Pokemon.com (in windows paint ). Can you upload it to the National Pokédex page ? It will be a help for viewers. SuperPikaPool13 (talk) 13:02, 21 August 2013 (UTC)
- It can be found at http://pokemon.wikia.com/wiki/File:National_pokedex.png SuperPikaPool13 (talk) 13:03, 21 August 2013 (UTC)
- That page seems rather condensed already with the two pictures we currently have, so I don't think adding a third would be the best idea. --Pokemaster97 14:16, 21 August 2013 (UTC)

- Other editors have given reasons such as "she has all of four Pokemon with confirmed genders, though it's not really necessary to note on this page regardless" and it being "too obvious". --Pokemaster97 23:00, 29 September 2013 (UTC)

That Talk Page HP Bar
So, I've seen this on alot of user talk pages around here, and I have not been able to figure it out. Perhaps you can explain to me how that bar works and how to implement one of my own? Because I am really curious about that. Schiffy (Speak to me|What I've done) 00:27, 11 November 2013 (UTC)
- It's basically a template that's built to decrease as your talk page fills up (though there are versions where you can manually update the number as well). The best example I can show you is here. Kinda hard to explain exactly how it works, but that's an example of the coding for it, I'm sure you could probably manipulate it to personalize it to your liking. I hope this helps, I'm not the best with explaining templates and such. --Pokemaster97 00:38, 11 November 2013 (UTC)

I thought I was undoing Pokemon nomekop's edit, but it seemed I wasn't and I didn't notice that...and then I tried to just use a previous version of the page and it got an error... So I'll leave that to others now. =( Sorry. Tiddlywinks (talk) 02:47, 28 November 2013 (UTC)
- I figured it was just an accident, I got a little confused there for a minute. No need to worry. --Pokemaster97 02:48, 28 November 2013 (UTC)
- I actually see what happened. Your edit had the same timestamp, but even though (by its ID) it occurred later, it was listed below Pokemon nomekop's, so I thought his was most recent and tried to undo it and...actually, I don't really know how that ended up restoring his edit then, but yeah... Still, I didn't actually check the page, I was just looking at contribs/history. Oops. Tiddlywinks (talk) 02:55, 28 November 2013 (UTC)
- Hmmm, pretty weird. I guess we blame Bulbapedia then :p --Pokemaster97 02:59, 28 November 2013 (UTC)

Question on Name Origin Policies and Disputes
A Name Origin dispute has occurred on the Aggron page between myself and Relicant. Boss is already listed as one of the possible derivatives of the name Bossgodora. I put that the god in Bossgodora could derive from "Godfather" which beyond meaning a crime boss also has less "Tony, the don says take him for a ride and give him a pair cement shoes" meanings. However, Relicant repeatedly undid the edit, saying he did not see it and did not further deliberate on it.
Anyways, what is the best course of action in this dispute? I tried looking for the policies page but I am not the most tech-savy and couldn't navigate the site to find it. Even if i did, I am afraid I am also not the best when it comes to reading what I suspect would be a confusing wall of text. I am vaguely sure if I were to undo their edit again it would violate a policy (not sure, I just vaguely have memory of a three-edit limit on something) Well, I'm off to warm up my new 2DS before charging it (again, not a tech-savey person but I am pretty sure it being freezing cold from the UPS truck, its not a good idea to plug it in right away) -cheers! Yamitora1 (talk) 19:37, 9 December 2013 (UTC)
- The best and most immediate action would be to bring up the dispute on the talk page and discuss your reasoning for including it, so others can have a chance to comment their opinions on it as well, then see how that goes before deciding whether or not to add it to the page again. It'd be wise not to add it back anymore for now as an additional revision would be getting into edit war territory. There's no real policy specifically for Name Origin sections (If I'm recalling correctly), we just try to use our best judgement in that area. I hope this helps and let me know if you're having any more issues with this. --Pokemaster97 19:45, 9 December 2013 (UTC)
Archive?
Just a quick question. What does archive mean? I kinda don't really know what that means. Can you explain that to me of what mean. Also, I apologize for removing that comments on my talk page, I forgot that It was one of the rules of not to do that on my talk page, It was my mistake. Thanks for reminding me, I won't remove them anymore again. Marioiscool765 (talk) 23:46, 18 December 2013 (UTC)
- You can archive your talk page by clicking the move tab, then renaming your talk page "User talk:Marioiscool1765/Archive 1" or something along those lines. You may then start new with the original, (just remove the redirect link once you're complete). Let me know if you have any further questions. --Pokemaster97 23:58, 18 December 2013 (UTC)
- Rather than removing the redirect link, convert it to a regular link - there must be a way to get from your current talk page to any archives without searching (i.e. by following links). Werdnae (talk) 02:29, 19 December 2013 (UTC)

Oval Charm redirect

I'd like to upload or replace a image, but I can't figure out how.
I want to upload a new version of a:File:Missingno_glitch_walking_players.png, but I don't quite know how. It says I need to be autoconfirmed, but if I can't upload images how do I edit the pages there and become autoconfirmed? Or is it autoconfirmed anywhere on the wiki? --Pokechu22 (talk) 19:05, 13 February 2014 (UTC)
- Firstly, all image uploads are handled on the Bulbagarden Archives. You can become autoconfirmed by editing pages and helping out with small tasks on both the Archives and Bulbapedia (though they're separate, so being autoconfirmed on one doesn't necessarily equal being autoconfirmed on the other. Another factor is how new to the site you are. Since it looks like you only just registered, you're going to have to spend a little more time editing first before you can become autoconfirmed. I hope I explained things alright for you. --Pokemaster97 19:16, 13 February 2014 (UTC)
- That's a fairly good explanation, thanks. But what kinds of things would you edit on the archives? Typos? Tagging? Categorizing? --Pokechu22 (talk) 19:29, 13 February 2014 (UTC)
- Yeah, that's pretty much the gist of it. --Pokemaster97 19:34, 13 February 2014 (UTC)
- When you are autoconfirmed, is there a email sent? Pokechu22 (talk) 20:10, 13 February 2014 (UTC)
- To be quite honest, I don't remember, it's been quite some time since I've been autoconfirmed. You can check by clicking on your preferences, it should say "autoconfirmed user" under your groups. --Pokemaster97 20:28, 13 February 2014 (UTC)
- Ah, thanks. Right now it says "users" and "emailconfirmed", I'm assuming that "emailconfirmed" is separate. Thanks for your help! --Pokechu22 (talk) 20:30, 13 February 2014 (UTC)
- Just wanted to note that I never got anything about being autoconfirmed on any bulbawiki site. It just happens. --It's Funktastic~!話してください 20:42, 13 February 2014 (UTC)
- Pardon the intrusion, but no, there is no email sent or anything. My account on archives was only recently placed into that group. Like Funk said, it just happens. Schiffy (瀬藤健二) (Talk Contribs) 22:51,2/13/2014 (UTC)
- Ok, another question: What images should I tag as jpg? Is there any case where it is ok for a image to be a jpg or gif? --Pokechu22 (talk) 20:44, 14 February 2014 (UTC)
- "Stock artwork should be saved as .jpg, except when the background is transparent, in which case .png is preferred." Scans are also acceptable as .jpgs, but pngs are preferred where available. --Pokemaster97 22:00, 14 February 2014 (UTC)
- Ok, that makes sense. --Pokechu22 (talk) 22:26, 14 February 2014 (UTC)
- One more thing: While I still haven't been autoconfirmed, I am email confirmed, and according to Special:ListGroupRights on archives (that's a external link due to my inability to figure out interwiki links), I should be able to upload images. But when I try to, I get this error message:
You do not have permission to create new pages. Is this intentional or a bug? --Pokechu22 (talk) 22:26, 14 February 2014 (UTC)
- While the original settings intended for email confirmed users to be able to upload, it's been set so you cannot until you have the additional autoconfirm right. The Autoconfirm right " Create pages (which are not discussion pages) (createpage)", so that may be overriding the uploading aspect because pages are created during uploads. --Pokemaster97 22:41, 14 February 2014 (UTC)

- It looks like they haven't done anything else incorrectly for the time being. If it continues I'll talk to them. --Pokemaster97 23:11, 14 February 2014 (UTC)
- I should add to this that before contacting you, Cinday123 left a message on this user's talk page that she would move to have them blocked over bad spelling/grammar/punctuation without checking to see if that was even something that a user can be blocked for first..... Schiffy (瀬藤健二) (Talk Contribs) 23:19,2/14/2014 (UTC)
- I didn't do it, I improved edits according to the Manual of Style. --Cinday123 (Talk) 23:23, 14 February 2014 (UTC)
- "Please read the Manual of style, you're using Pokemon without an e-acute instead of Pokémon and not using capital letters at the beginning and full stops at the end, if you don't improve your edits, I'll contact an admin and block you. --Cinday123 (Talk) 22:56, 14 February 2014 (UTC)" - this is the message you left on this user's talk page. You really have to stop issuing warnings to users as if you were staff, as you attempted to do to me twice only one month ago, without first understanding the nature of the issue and not listening when I explained it. Schiffy (瀬藤健二) (Talk Contribs) 23:24,2/14/2014 (UTC)
- See? Now I stopped issuing other users, now I'll have to talk about Diancie, and I already followed the Manual of style. --Cinday123 (Talk) 23:28, 14 February 2014 (UTC)
Twitch
I actually do use the preview button. I edit the article very rapidly because it's an ongoing event with a lot of potential for change in a small period of time (that sounds ironic, given the nature of Twitch).
Philosophical-Psychological Informist Togekiss (talk) 04:25, 21 February 2014 (UTC)
- That's understandable. At one of the edits I happened to look at it was you changing "Poke" -> "Poké", which I thought was a result of rushing and not previewing. Sorry for misunderstanding. --Pokemaster97 04:52, 21 February 2014 (UTC)
Images not updating?
Hello. A while ago, I uploaded a new version of a:file:Missingno_glitch_walking_players.png. On the archives the file has updated, but it has not for the image on the main site. It has been around a week, and the file still has not changed. Is this normal? What is the time I should expect? Is there something I should do? --Pokechu22 (talk) 06:37, 2 March 2014 (UTC)
- Images on Bulbapedia are served via a content delivery network, which can result in files updating slower than expected. Images should update within 24 hours, but problems can happen which may cause a file to take longer. If you notice an image hasn't updated after 24 hours, please let me know on my talk page. I've manually purged the file you've reported here, and it should display properly now. If it isn't, try hard refreshing the file page on Bulbapedia. If it still displays incorrectly, let me know. Thanks - Kogoro - Talk to me - 10:14, 2 March 2014 (UTC)
Just so it is clear (if it wasn't), I was replying not directly to you, but the comment you replied to. Is it preferred to use the comment "thread" form which you changed it to (I shall call IRC-style) over something like Reddit-style (which I had done, and you changed away from)? Just want to know for the future. --TruePikachu (talk) 23:16, 2 March 2014 (UTC)
- It's preferred to indent all comments further than the last. We try to do this so talk pages don't look like one wall of text and it's easier to see where one comment finishes and the other one starts. --Pokemaster97 23:18, 2 March 2014 (UTC)
Wondering
What? You agree with Force Fire? Well I Think Force Fire is the one that's wrong, not me. Because I saw this episode about a few years ago and I said that Lick was used in Princess vs Princess and putting lick as unknown doesn't count. If you won't believe then find the episode online to prove it.----JasonL 22:41, 23 March 2014 (UTC)
- It's not just Force Fire, it's SnorlaxMonster and Dennou Zenshi as well. I'm more concerned with you edit warring. If you have an issue, the best thing to do is take the issue to a talk page and discuss it there, not constantly undo everyone who tries disagrees with you. Another note, your signature is in violation of the Signature policy, all signatures must link to either your talk page, or your userpage. Please try to get this corrected when you have the chance. --Pokemaster97 02:44, 24 March 2014 (UTC)
Well now I'm confused now because now I don't know if Lickitung uses Lick for real because seeing the move Lick as unknown doesn't count as an episode and I don't see Lick in the anime move error. --JasonL 22:55, 25 March 2014 (UTC)
- You can find the result on this talk page. PattyMan 23:19, 25 March 2014 (UTC)
Regarding the move from Daz to Dolan
I moved it from Daz to Dolan because of what I was told here. Is there anyway you or another staff member add that rule to the manual of style so that there wouldn't be anymore rule conflicts such as what happened with Georgia's and Lyra's talk page, as well as with Morana's and Nanette's regarding pokemon.com's reliability with the names? PattyMan 02:21, 3 April 2014 (UTC)
- I'd like to talk to pass it by Kenji-girl before I add it, but I can definitely look into getting it added. --Pokemaster97 02:32, 3 April 2014 (UTC)
- Ok then. It was just upsetting for me when one side told me about doing something, only for it to not be true when I actually did it, such as the moving of dub names prior to today. PattyMan 02:58, 3 April 2014 (UTC)
Juice Shoppe
I wonder if you didn't notice my new comment on the Lumiose City talk page about how I updated my Juice Shoppe page to attempt to address your concerns. I'm eager to learn how successful I was. =) Tiddlywinks (talk) 01:00, 23 April 2014 (UTC)
- Sorry for missing the message on that talk page. The page is a bit over-focused on the juice mechanics, but that can certainly be improved on later. I'll talk to Kogoro and hopefully it can be moved before the end of the month. Please do continue editing and tweaking it though. --Pokemaster97 03:57, 23 April 2014 (UTC)
Posts tagged with "bad formatting"?
A few of my posts (for instance, edits on Missingno) are tagged as "bad formatting". When the edit was made, I was warend about formating as well, but no formating was used on such pages other than < br>, < !--, and < refernces/>. Am I not supposed to use < br>? Because it was included in the page before hand. --Pokechu22 (talk) 05:18, 4 May 2014 (UTC)
- I'm afraid I'm not sure to be completely honest with you. Try asking Kogoro, she could probably give you a more accurate answer than I can. --Pokemaster97 19:15, 4 May 2014 (UTC)

My userpage
Hi, Pokemaster97. I'm very new to this site and I can't edit my userpage. Everytime I attempt to edit it, it always say these reasons:
- You do not have permission to edit pages in the User namespace. If you are a new user, you will need to edit existing articles before you can edit your userpage.
- You do not have permission to create new pages.
On the first one, I edited at least one of the pages on the site, but it was still locked. I've already read the userpage policy but I feel like my problem didn't fit to the four reasons listed there. Plus, I already confirmed my account via e-mail. UnitedDestiny (talk) 11:27, 31 May 2014 (UTC)
- While you may be email confirmed to Bulbapedia, it doesn't automatically mean that you're autoconfirmed. A certain amount of edits in combination with the amount of time you've been on the site is required before the system recognizes you as autoconfirmed. If you continue to edit regularly, you should be able to edit your userpage soon. --Pokemaster97 18:07, 31 May 2014 (UTC)
Protection Request
Could you put both Sceptile and Swampert's pages under lockdown for now at least until the scans have been confirmed as official since I did some users try to update Septiles pages. You could also lockdown the pages of their pre-evolutions as well to be on the safe side.-Tyler53841 (talk) 02:36, 8 June 2014 (UTC)
- The pages have been protected. --Pokemaster97 02:41, 8 June 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks. This kind of situation was inevitable so there was really no choice in this matter but anyway glad you could help.-Tyler53841 (talk) 02:43, 8 June 2014 (UTC)
- Oh and also for the moves and Abilities that the Pokémon were revealed to have such as Lightning Rod, Swift Swim, and Hammer Arm. PattyMan 02:49, 8 June 2014 (UTC)

Question
How do you get images from Filb.de without the watermark in the corner? TheShinyRoggenrola (talk) 15:19, 30 June 2014 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure you have to edit the watermark out of the picture using a photo editing software. I've never actually done it myself, so I can't be much help unfortunately. --Pokemaster97 18:41, 30 June 2014 (UTC)

Code Lyoko
You wrote that Your favourite anime is Code Lyoko. But... Code Lyoko isn't anime, it's cartoon, like Avatar: The Legend of Aang or The Legend of Korra. ;) Asmod96 (talk) 18:28, 8 August 2014 (UTC)

Learnset Template error
Ok so I recently discovered the form=mega tag, where it makes the legend read "Italic indicates a move that gets STAB only when used by a Mega Evolution of <Pokémon>"
So I started adding it to the Pokémon who now have Mega Evolution, so that their articles would properly reflect this change if appropriate.
However, I noticed that if there are no moves that a Pokémon would get stab for while in a Mega evolved state, the legend will read "Italic indicates a move that gets STAB only when used by an evolution of <Pokémon>"
I thought I would bring the issue up since this could be misleading to less knowledgeable editors and readers. Yamitora1 (talk) 04:56, 21 August 2014 (UTC)

Where to start
Hey, I just joined Bulbapedia again (I used to be active years ago but let's not get into that), and I'd love to start contributing again but I don't know exactly where to start and where my help might be needed. Sorry if this isn't the place to be asking, but you were the only staff member I remember talking to back when I used to be a member and I thought you might be the best person to ask. Ki (talk) 17:35, 7 December 2014 (UTC)
- Hey there, since we're in the midst of the ORAS release, adding any info you know/have about that would always be welcome. If not, I always find this category to be helpful for trying to find things to do/fix/improve. Another place you could help out with is adding/expanding info about any side series games you may have as well as those don't always get as much attention as others. Hope some of these suggestions would be of help to you. Enjoy your time here! --Pokemaster97 20:13, 7 December 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks, I'll get to work on some stubs if I can find anything relevant to add. And if you ever need someone to do something, I'm your guy, I'm fine with doing anything that higher-ups here don't have time to deal with. Well, you know, if that ever happens. Ki (talk) 22:07, 7 December 2014 (UTC)
Could I edit this page?

Account creations
I'm not sure this is the appropriate talk page, since you're the closest staff I could contact. Anyway, I noticed there were large amounts of account creations today, sometimes one after another. Either it's a coincidence or it's sockpuppeting. Does this rate of account creations normal? Safyire[Talk] 07:39, 12 December 2014 (UTC)
- These accounts are most likely spam accounts that have managed to get through the spam filter. We typically leave them be unless they start editing and creating spam pages. --Pokemaster97 21:35, 12 December 2014 (UTC)
User subpage creation
Could you do me a favor and take the content you removed from my talk page and make a subpage in my userspace for me? I don't have permissions to create subpages in my userspace. EliteFourScott (talk) 04:15, 29 December 2014 (UTC)
- It's against the rules to ask other users to make a userpage for you as well. You'll have to continue editing articles until you the system automatically gives you permission to edit your userspace. The data can still be found under the history tab of your talk page though so you can copy it over later. --Pokemaster97 04:21, 29 December 2014 (UTC)
- Yes, I've read some of the userspace guidelines now. It looks like the three edit per day rule will render my intentions moot anyway. Still, I'd like to chip in some edits since I've gotten so much useful info from this wiki. Are there any "help wanted" sections where I might find useful places to edit? Most of the mainspace pages seem pretty polished, so I'm not really sure where to look to contribute. EliteFourScott (talk) 04:26, 29 December 2014 (UTC)
- Just to add, you can only edit your userpage once you've made a certain amount of mainspace edits. Of which you have made... 0.--ForceFire 04:24, 29 December 2014 (UTC)
- Sorry to butt in! If you're looking for areas that need help, you can always search the Projects to-do lists and ongoing tasks, there's also Stubs, Articles needing improvement and Articles needing more information. Those are always great places to browse if you're looking to contribute :) --ZestyCactus 05:19, 29 December 2014 (UTC)
Hey
Thought I'd let you know that Hyperspace Fury is now there if you wanted to move-protect it as well, given you protected the other quintet. CycloneGU (talk) 15:25, 14 January 2015 (UTC)
- Thank you for mentioning it, I've handled it. --Pokemaster97 17:09, 14 January 2015 (UTC)
Why is the directional layout not North, South, East, West instead of splitting North and South to opposite ends of the table? Many Routes are either north/south or east/west, so I imagine changing it to that format would be a better format. I'm presuming there's a reason they were split? CycloneGU (talk) 23:47, 18 January 2015 (UTC)
- I'm honestly not sure why the directions were ordered that way, it seems to have been that way from before I even joined Bulbapedia. I can certainly investigate the matter though. --Pokemaster97 23:58, 18 January 2015 (UTC)
- What I might do is prep a version with the N/S/E/W ordering in the event that the change can be done. I'll put it in userspace for now if I do that. If there's no objection, we can then take it straight from there to the page later. CycloneGU (talk) 00:12, 19 January 2015 (UTC)
- Upon looking into it, the directions are in the same order as they appear, vertically, on the route infobox: North on top, then East & West in the middle, and finally South on the bottom. I don't think it's something that necessarily needs to be "Fixed", as it doesn't really impact the understanding of the table. --Pokemaster97 00:45, 19 January 2015 (UTC)
- Ah, so that's why. However, I think human understanding of how directions pertain to each other gives possible benefit to North and South being located next to each other. Do you think it would cause a conflict if I took it upon myself to set the tables that way? CycloneGU (talk) 00:54, 19 January 2015 (UTC)
- If you make a mock up in your userspace, we can take a look at it and possibly mainspace it if they're are no staff objections. --Pokemaster97 01:09, 19 January 2015 (UTC)
- I'll do that then. Maybe I'll do that tomorrow as it's almost bedtime here, but depending on how easy it is done, it might be up shortly. CycloneGU (talk) 07:20, 19 January 2015 (UTC)
[Outdent] Yup, looks like it will be complicated. Because each line uses a template and the template puts North first, all Route entries for north1 are working while everything else - well - isn't (east1, west1, and south1 are failing ATM). This means I'll need to create a new version of the template to possibly accomodate the changes. Therefore, when I create the user page, ignore the fact that it will be not showing correct links to numbered Routes within the table; when I create a mock template and link to that in the userspace version (a change I'll make later, since I'll want a history version that keeps the proper references for copying), I predict it would be proven to still work, therefore allowing South to switch places under a modified template. The current template is the only thing preventing the change, so this will take more work than I envosioned, but it still seems easy to do.
One of my source ideas is putting the north1, etc. at the end of the code, after the region, to make it easier for other editors looking at the code, and that's a change I can do on the existing page anyway, but I'll try doing a new version first; besides, the amount of editing needed on the page should be minimal. I'm also adding New Mauville (Route 110), which is missing on the current version; if Scorched Slab can appear for 120, so can New Mauville for 110. CycloneGU (talk) 08:27, 19 January 2015 (UTC)
- All set and working:
- Template Page
- List of routes in my userspace
- For explanatory purposes, the associated talk page where I describe what I'm doing and also, for my own notes, list things that I've changed aside from updating the tables (so I can go add them myself at any time).
- I tested my template on the Kanto Route 9 entry via preview and it changed the Route 10 link to Kanto Route 10, so the modified template is working with my version of the page (but would break the current page, obviously, so any merge/move is all or none). I'm going to do a directional review of the games I know - which is pretty much anything outside of Sinnoh ATM, haven't really played them to completion - and make more corrections aside from a couple I already made, and also double check for any errors in arranging columns outside of any changes I make. I thought of changing East and West around as well, but decided that East is thought of first, so left that (one would say "North, South, East, West", not "North, South, West, East"). Any thoughts in the meantime? CycloneGU (talk) 19:22, 19 January 2015 (UTC)
- Sorry for the late response. I think things are looking good for the most part. Contact one of the staff when you believe that you have tested and made everything perfect. --Pokemaster97 00:42, 22 January 2015 (UTC)
- Can do. I've returned to working on my other project that is currently ongoing for a bit, that of the rematch data in OR/AS. I'm five Badges into the research. Wow, this is a long task. =) I have another editor following behind me assisting in data verification' because of that, I feel compelled to finish that project before doing List of routes to its conclusion. I think it's done anyway, I just want to do some analysis on it before saying such. CycloneGU (talk) 01:18, 22 January 2015 (UTC)

First, I made a list at Talk:Cheri berry a while ago that I hoped someone would notice, but I didn't flag it for deletion because I was afraid it might accidentally get deleted without being read. I'd appreciate if you could take care of what needs taking care of from there.

Sdex
I just reread the message from Glik; it might have been my error in the reading of that as I now see he advised on the userpage usage. Even so, as I will be seeking to move the page using the template probably in two days or so (I'm going to trust that the Expert Stage data at Pokémon Shuffle is accurate), changing all of the references to the userspace version just to change them back in two days seems kind of pointless. My intention is to leave the template, then speak to someone about moving my project page when I'm done (was going to come to you in fact). I'm currently at Stage 135 and will probably be finished with my own research in a couple of days.
The page using the template is located here; I'm surprised it's still working with the template now having been moved. CycloneGU (talk) 04:43, 1 March 2015 (UTC)
- ...aaand now I see, Sdex is for Sinnoh Dex. I can append a small "h" and make it "ShDex perhaps. CycloneGU (talk) 04:45, 1 March 2015 (UTC)
Pokémon Shuffle Pokédex
Barring a change to the title (if a better one is determined), List of Pokémon by Pokémon Shuffle Browser number is complete! I'm going to suggest to rename the associated template as "ShDex" and locate it there, and this page is itself also ready to move. Though I can move it (move permissions in my userspace, of course), the involvement of a template stays my doing so. Are there any changes that might be necessary before moving the template? I don't know if we want to create ability pages for the Shuffle abilities in the same vein as the others; in that instance, template work would be needed before moving the page out.
Also, an update to Pokélist template with the new addition will eventually be needed once it's set.
I'll be monitoring for new updates as I have completed all but the final stage of the maingame. I presume anything new goes after 150 (or after EX20 in the case of expert stages) outside of special downloadable content. CycloneGU (talk) 08:32, 3 March 2015 (UTC)
- Still looking for thoughts here. CycloneGU (talk) 04:16, 4 March 2015 (UTC)
- Sorry, I wasn't aware you wanted thoughts, the phrasing of your comments had me under the impression that you were just making general comments, not asking for feedback. The name "ShDex" sounds fine if you to rename it still. The template looks ok from a glance, but I'd run it past a more template-savvy staff member if you want more indepth input (SnorlaxMonster or Kogoro for instance). --Pokemaster97 04:22, 4 March 2015 (UTC)
- Awesome, thanks. I do feel the Pokédex page is ready to move, with the template being the only thing that might still need eventual editing. I'll ask SnorlaxMonster to determine if anything else is needed on the template for now and we'll go from there, as there's not a lot we can add to the Dex page right now other than the actual Shuffle images (if we even have them here yet). User revision
I noticed that you were the last user to handle talk page etiquette. Can you take care of a user being too rough based on what he wrote on the revision? I reverted it instead of responding to it since the way he wrote it was against the code of conduct IMO. PattyMan 03:20, 4 March 2015 (UTC)

Talk pages
Last I checked, it's a violation to edit/erase another person's talk page addition, even for site/forum moderators. And you didn't even provide a reason for the deletion. DarienLeonhart (talk) 22:09, 6 April 2015 (UTC)
- If you have an issue with my decisions, or you don't like the way the rules are enforced here, you may speak with Kogoro. I'm done addressing you/arguing with you about the decisions I make (all of which I have the right to do). --Pokemaster97 00:09, 7 April 2015 (UTC)
- You bet I have issue with it, since I got in trouble for doing that, and all I did was correct the spelling of one word in someone else's talk page edit. And moderators such as yourself are supposed to follow their own rules. DarienLeonhart (talk) 00:53, 7 April 2015 (UTC)
- Please see the userspace policy, specifically the portion under "Content deletion" (section 4 in the contents). CycloneGU (talk) 00:56, 7 April 2015 (UTC)
- Asking why a person can't make changes to an article's main page isn't a violation of any policy that I'm aware of. It's a legitimate question and should not have been removed. Even if the answer why was posted somewhere else, it still isn't a violation of any policy, userspace or otherwise, and should not have been deleted. DarienLeonhart (talk) 01:05, 7 April 2015 (UTC)
- I've asked Pokemaster97 for permission to carry on this discussion with you in another venue. I'll let him answer on that here if he wishes, or I can update if I get a reply. However, I will say for now that there are two things to look at in this matter that I think were in play:
- 1. Per the talk page policy, "Removing comments is also prohibited, unless it is spam, content that would be better suited to the Bulbagarden forums, or a reply to a finished conversation older than six months";
- 2. The code of conduct may have also been considered.
- I've demonstrated that administrators and above can do anything regardless of policy, though I am certain they also have their own internal policies that they must still follow (these I presume, without my knowing for sure, are set by Kogoro or past editors-in-chief or otherwise agreed to within the Editorial Board and are not for general viewing). In this case, Pokemaster must have considered the comment to be spammy or potentially in violation of the code of conduct (my understanding is that this stems from some time ago). Therefore, Pokemaster has taken the actions he felt necessary as a bureaucrat. The only level of appeal above a bureaucrat, I believe, is the editor-in-chief (Kogoro). If Kogoro agrees with Pokemaster's actions and decisions, then that's the final word; there is no one above that level.
- That's all I will say about this for now as I don't think I can explain it any plainer than that. I'm explaining this as someone who has had experience in a staff capacity at completely different (multiple) venues outside of Bulbapedia and, thus, as someone who can relate to what is happening here. CycloneGU (talk) 01:44, 7 April 2015 (UTC)
Uh
Regardless of that user's history, having the question answered on that page isn't a bad thing. Others will come along wanting to edit and it'll have to be answered later on anyway. CycloneGU (talk) 00:06, 7 April 2015 (UTC)
- So, should we go to all of the other 718 pages and explain why new users cannot edit those pages as well, even though it's explained in the FAQ and under the message when you attempt to edit it? --Pokemaster97 00:09, 7 April 2015 (UTC)
- I never said that. I just said there's nothing wrong with me answering another user's question. Blatantly saying "if you bothered to check" is, in short, suggesting I did something wrong by answering another user's question. I did nothing wrong and now you've made me feel like I made a grave sin here. The edit summary was extremely intimidating. CycloneGU (talk) 00:12, 7 April 2015 (UTC)
- I'd like to apologize to you for the edit summary, it was directed towards the user who originally restored the comment, who is constantly taking it upon himself to revert administrative action, I've removed it so no more confusion can occur from it as well as restored the comment. --Pokemaster97 00:17, 7 April 2015 (UTC)
- Thank you for the apology. Indeed, I was merely answering a user's question, so it took me by surprise. I feel it's a question that is better to answer as it comes up, personally, but that's just my opinion. And yeah, I now see that you had have deleted both entries, so I can see that it might have been directed at that user. CycloneGU (talk) 00:22, 7 April 2015 (UTC)
Question
Hey there, I have a question. Would it be fine if someone uploaded a picture of the Malamar and Inkay Clemont and James temporarily used in Facing the Grand Design! episode because I have been having major difficulties upload one on the archives page. Seabiscuit2020 01:38 07, April 2015(UTC)
- I can see if I (or someone else) can find something for you. Alternatively, if you have the picture saved somewhere else, if you link it to me, I can upload it from there if it's easier. --Pokemaster97 01:46, 7 April 2015 (UTC)
Ash's Pikachu
Since the other conversation got a little lengthy, I wanted to ask directly to get a feel for where this is going (apologies is this is not preferred). What is the feeling on natures showing up in the infoboxes for anime and manga Pokémon? Since, in the case of the anime, they are not brought up at all other than to say every Pokémon can be individually different, I don't think they have a place there as using a game reincarnation of something to "guess" is at best adding unsourced material, so I wanted to get a feel for what the thought is before this goes unprotected tomorrow. I don't mind noting natures of game representations on the page (and they should be there), but I feel they have nothing to do with the article itself otherwise, including the infobox, and demonstrated this there (using Ash's Scraggy as another example as well). This could by extension be applied to "guessed" abilities, too. CycloneGU (talk) 20:30, 20 May 2015 (UTC)
- I'd rather not say anything definite at this time, as the staff are still considering all the options. I voiced all my personal opinions on the issue the last time I commented, but can't really speak for all as it has the potential to be a major formatting change. The issue will be a topic during today's staff meeting though. --Pokemaster97 20:50, 20 May 2015 (UTC)
- No worries, and thanks for updating me on that much. I can't really say much more (and have already said plenty anyway LOL), so I'll let staff decide which way they prefer and will respect the decision. May I suggest voicing the thought of splitting Ash's Pikachu article as well much like the other main characters, though? Pikachu has appeared in virtually every main episode (perhaps saving one or two, but I can't think of them at this time) and every movie, so splitting it with (anime) and (manga) seems beneficial like with other characters. I'll leave my thoughts at that. =) CycloneGU (talk) 21:00, 20 May 2015 (UTC)

Image Thumbnail Problems?
I was involved in trying to help change the infobox image at Serena's Braixen more than 72 hours ago. It was changed to a new image showing Braixen waving her "wand" (stick) and trailing fire from it. At the image page, the updated image appears.
At the infobox, however, the old image of Serena standing behind the just-evolved Braixen is still in there. Today, I was curious and attempted to change the image dimensions. When I changed the size down to 250 and hit Preview, the new image appeared with no problem. When I went back to 251 and previewed again, the old image was back. I went and cleared my cache and then tried reloading the page; the old image was still there. Is something at the Archives end not working? CycloneGU (talk) 21:52, 7 June 2015 (UTC)
- ...and ironically, Abcboy picked up that it was the wrong width and changed it anyway. LMAO So problem resolved in this case. But why was it doing that? CycloneGU (talk) 23:11, 7 June 2015 (UTC)
- I'm honestly not sure why it was doing that. I want to say that it was probably the cache being fidgety, but I wouldn't be able to explain any further. I can look into it with some of the other more techy staff members and see if we can dig up anything. --Pokemaster97 03:35, 8 June 2015 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure the problem is my end, because Pattyman said that it was showing different pictures on different devices (computer and phone) and later matched on both with the current picture. So if the thumbnail was correct over there, I must have forgotten or not thought of something over here. I just don't know what. LOL
- What makes it confusing is that Internet Explorer (I don't use that, BTW) also brought up the old image. It was the first time it visited that page. CycloneGU (talk) 04:02, 8 June 2015 (UTC)
Location preview filenames
The current ones don't really distinguish them from the maps. I think they should be renamed to <location>_<FRLG>_preview.png and <location>_<HGSS>_preview_<time_period>.png for the sake of consistency. HGSS previews used for both day and evening should reflect this in the filename because people might want to collect the previews for themselves and this would make things more accurate. Also, the Burned Tower previews shouldn't call it Brass Tower. SatoMew2 (talk) 13:10, 8 June 2015 (UTC)
- I've passed this along to higher members of the Archives staff to discuss. --Pokemaster97 17:49, 8 June 2015 (UTC)
New Image Project
Got ScriesM's permission to use the spritesheet (which I found out later was compiled from single files anyway, LOL) in the Shuffle pages, and possibly Battle Trozei if we confirm they are identical in most cases. I am aware of {{Template:MSP}} which is called from other templates to pull the generic mini-sprites; I am currently adding transparency to all of my image pulls, and am about ready to run a test of a few of them in a table format in my sandbox (I apologize, there may be some excessive editing in there today, though I'll try not to). Once that test is complete, I'll be working on getting them all uploaded over the next day or two.
What I'd like to do is have permission (since I think templates need permission) to create a nearly identical template; the only difference will be what images will be called. I'd like to put it in mainspace right away while I'm uploading the images to be called by it; as soon as the images are in, they will be pulled by the article when I convert the Shuffle list over to it in one shot (and then new entries will automatically use them). I'll create the template with the changed filename noted on it; I'm thinking something like "Tile001", since they aren't exclusive to Shuffle and are kinda like if you picked up a game piece from Rummicub (which have numbers and other game-related elements on them), but other names might work better and I'm open to suggestion. The test page will involve a userspace version of the template, and once it's confirmed good and working, the template will be ready for mainspace while I work on the images. You can track what I'm doing in Recent Changes if you want to for approval purposes rather than my updating here as I'll copy the MSP template shortly for a temporary filename structure, which can be made permanent once we decide on a good name format (at which point we can mainspace it). CycloneGU (talk) 20:16, 11 June 2015 (UTC)
- Just to update, the template page has been created. Haven't uploaded a few more test images yet, asked Pattyman to help make sure everything's kosher and I'll copy it on the other test ones. They'll later be renamed with all the others to whatever we decide on. CycloneGU (talk) 21:16, 11 June 2015 (UTC)
Curious
Is the EB going to be looking at this and all of the other pages associated with this soon? I have them dressed up and ready to go (despite them being Abcboy's space, I created many of them and edited some of the content in a way that only appears on that version, not on the main Shuffle page), and I even have the template set up to match. I'm kind of holding back on putting the side games data in until I know for sure whether this is going in or not because I don't want to use one version, then have to go back and edit 260 pages again after the change. Once this is confirmed either way, I can update Shuffle and all of the other side games I've researched. This is the delay. =) CycloneGU (talk) 18:22, 24 July 2015 (UTC)
- I've been told that it will be discussed during the August meeting next month. --Pokemaster97 00:24, 25 July 2015 (UTC)
- Ah. Bit of a wait. I guess what I may do for now is get the ones that are not in Shuffle updated. The rest can wait. I'll probably just do a set number daily, anyway, so it wouldn't be a one-day update in any case. CycloneGU (talk) 00:48, 25 July 2015 (UTC)
- Any update yet? Has the EB met this month? I'm also noticing a TON of content in the current Escalation Battle (notice the comment I added at Pokémon Shuffle, and that doesn't even include the stage data, only something to try to help identify what stage appears when), so I'm going to probably create a new page just for that under the proposal now. It's too much for the page it's on right now, even, so having the extra page would let us be completely detailed. CycloneGU (talk) 03:42, 18 August 2015 (UTC)
- It may be better to speak to an Editorial Board member directly about this, I can only give you second-hand information that they pass along. --Pokemaster97 00:52, 19 August 2015 (UTC)
- Oh, I thought I saw you on the EB. I guess you're a level lower. My bad. LOL CycloneGU (talk) 02:07, 19 August 2015 (UTC)
User subpage restore
Heya Pokemaster97, I'm trying to recover some of my old coding. Could you possibly please restore the pages User:Takharii/pokebox and User:Takharii/parties please? ("Takharii" was my old username, by the way). Thanks! —★レシイラムtalk 09:26, 25 September 2015 (UTC)
- Done! You can find your pages under the same names, except it's now under your new username so "User:Reshii/pokebox and User:Reshii/parties. --Pokemaster97 17:53, 25 September 2015 (UTC)
- Thank you! —★レシイラムtalk 04:09, 26 September 2015 (UTC)

Talonflame's Dex entry
I noticed Talonflame had a Dex entry from XY086 in which the episode wasn't dubbed and the source used was Japanese subs. Will it be okay to remove? PattyMan 05:21, 5 October 2015 (UTC)
- Yeah, you can go ahead and remove it. --Pokemaster97 05:21, 5 October 2015 (UTC)
Fire Spin, Thunder and Aqua Jet
Can you delete the uses of those in the anime from XY090, since we don't know if those were actually the moves that Flareon, Jolteon and Vaporeon respectively used? The reasons being are the following:
Fire Spin - Just because the Fire type attack that came out of Flareon's mouth and spun around its body, does not mean that it was Fire Spin. Pokemon have used other Fire type moves and made them curve, so why couldn't this be one of those times? Plus, Tierno's Charmeleon used it differently in XY086.
Thunder - The Jolteon in XY090 might not have used Thunder, due to the fact that it know lots of Electric type moves and it could have used an Electric type move (not Thunder) in a stylised way that looks similar to Thunder. And Thunder in the latest games shows a Pokemon shooting lighting from a dark cloud and in XY090, Jolteon shot electricity from its body into the air and then the electricity in the air hits the ground. So I think Jolteon's supposed use of Thunder in XY090 should be deleted, due to no complete confirmation.
Aqua Jet - Vaporeon doesn't know Aqua Jet and wouldn't it be more likely thart Vaporeon could have used a move that it does know. For instance, Surf or Waterfall, both moves that it can learn and moves that could be similar to how Aqua Jet looks in the anime. I mean, we haven't really seen how Waterfall and Surf look like in the anime lately, so it could be one of those moves. Playerking95 (talk) 05:33, 12 October 2015 (UTC)
- I'm just replying to acknowledge that I saw this. I'm rather busy at school at the moment since I have midterms this week, but I (or another staff member) will be looking into this and addressing it as soon as possible. My initial thoughts at the moment are if it's not explicitly stated, it's safe to remove. That's pretty much protocol for most situations on the wiki. --Pokemaster97 05:56, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
Remember this?
Just a small changed but, in the character, shouldn't it be that Ash got over his loss after Ritchie lost as well and talked to him about it afterwords, cause I highly doubt Misty was all that helpful from scolding him?
I can't make that change in Ash's page, i'm not admin. but maybe you can? Jahman (talk) 02:55, 18 October 2015 (UTC)
Slash (move)
Sorry to bother you again with a similar issue, but multiple uses keep insisting that one of the Pangoro in XY071 used the move slash, even though Pangoro has multiple moves which could look like slash and since you said that if a move wasn't confirmed because it hasn't been referred to by a name, then it shouldn't be listed, then surely that should also count for Slash as well. So, can you or myself edit the page? Playerking95 (talk) 03:30, 25 October 2015 (UTC)
- It seems like Force Fire took care of it. --Pokemaster97 06:02, 25 October 2015 (UTC)
Userpage requests
Sorry to interrupt the CotD project but can you delete User:Pattyman/Yahichi, User:Pattyman/Shinji (EP173), User:Pattyman/Gold's Cyndaquil, and User:Pattyman/Silver's Totodile? I originally only wanted the former two deleted which was why I slapped the delete template on them but I changed my mind as I have two more. PattyMan 02:55, 21 December 2015 (UTC)
- Done ✓ --Pokemaster97 02:59, 21 December 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks, and another thing, are you going to take care of the images relating with the CotD project on the Archives or someone else can do that? PattyMan 03:03, 21 December 2015 (UTC)
- I was going to focus on the Bulbapedia side first since I'm only one person, but if you or someone else would like to start on the Archives side that would be greatly appreciated. --Pokemaster97 03:07, 21 December 2015 (UTC)
- I'll start on the Archive stuff. PattyMan 03:10, 21 December 2015 (UTC)
Body Mass Index and Other Random Stuff
Should we include a body mass index page for Pokémon? As well as images and scripts for the anime episodes, like the way South Park Archives does it? They also have episodes with character focus, even though I don't think this stuff is needed, but it should. Man 20:19, 23 December 2015 (UTC)
- We don't plan on putting transcripts of episodes on Bulbapedia in the interest of legality. We provide screenshots for most episodes through our affiliate filb.de, which is linked in the infobox of every episode page. Could you clarify what you mean by episodes with character focus? We do have categories that organize episodes by characters, these can be found by either searching the categories or checking the bottom of the episodes to view the listed categories. As for the body mass index pages, it would be beneficial to bring this suggestion to a higher staff member on the Editorial Board such as Jo The Marten or Kogoro since it's a major change and above my paygrade. Hopefully I was able to help you, let me know if you have any more questions. --Pokemaster97 21:57, 23 December 2015 (UTC)
Ok. I was just curious. Man 01:11, 24 December 2015 (UTC)
Demotd
A user named Demotd added back content on the Sableye page that I removed and then sent some weird gibberish on my talk page. As for the talk page, I don't know why the user did that. PattyMan 22:09, 3 January 2016 (UTC)

Userpage restrictions
Hi. :)
I've been digging up the website, and I've managed to find out much time and how many edits a user must do in order to get itself a userpage. But why is there even a limit if it's that little of a requirement? Is this just to stop one-timers from corrupting the wiki? Just wondering! See ya! MannedTooth (talk) 06:29, 22 January 2016 (UTC)
- The requirement is present to discourage users from making accounts just to make a userpage, which has been an issue in the past. On Bulbapedia, having userspace is a privilege and it shouldn't be the primary focus of any user, newer users having to gain those editing privileges reinforces that idea. Not to mention, it also gives new users time to get situated and familiar with all of Bulbapedia's policies and etc. --Pokemaster97 06:35, 22 January 2016 (UTC)
- That's a quick and clear answer. Thank you for that! :) MannedTooth (talk) 06:36, 22 January 2016 (UTC)
Replacement Tool
Is there a quick and effective replacement/addition tool on the wiki? I want to add quotes marks (") to all of the quotes on this page: Pokémon Center Nurse MannedTooth (talk) 07:04, 22 January 2016 (UTC)
- There's none that I know of that is already built into the wiki. There might be some outside sources you could find useful, but I wouldn't be any help in that department. --Pokemaster97 18:25, 22 January 2016 (UTC)
Head of Anime's duties!
So I just noticed you are the new Head of Anime here, good show there. It's really cool considering the first time we spoke, you couldnt even insert an image to your userspace; very well done!
Anyway, down to buisness. I was wondering what your opinion was on Aria's Delphox: should it be granted its own page? I have one premade and so does, I think, another user but it doesn't really matter which one. I'd say Delphox should get one but the power is now in your hands sir! Diamond Lanturn CodeName: 05308 17:40, 26 March 2016 (UTC)
- Ah, yes, I try not to relive those times. My opinion of the article right now is that the Pokémon itself meets the notability requirements to have its own page, however the page needs a bit of work before mainspacing. The main body of the article is too "list-y" right now, which makes the whole thing come off as repetitive. I was going to try to see if I could reword/clean up some things to make it more suitable for the mainspace, (if you'd like to try doing this and messaging me again once you have that's fine too since I might not get around to it right away). --Pokemaster97 23:05, 26 March 2016 (UTC)
- No sweat, I've spruced it up a little bit. Diamond Lanturn CodeName: 05308 16:36, 27 March 2016 (UTC)
- Nice work on the page, it's been mainspaced. --Pokemaster97 20:45, 27 March 2016 (UTC)
Sorry to do this to you again but I've also been working on a page for Shauna's Ivysaur, which is just lacking in specifics concerning battles and performances, I'm sure you'd agree this Pokémon is worth its own page. I was also wondering if it is worth making ones for Miette's Slurpuff and Nini's Smoochum, prehaps even Nini's Farfetch'D; they've all been involved in a range of apperences besides battles and preformances though I doubt we'll see any of them again. Diamond Lanturn CodeName: 05308 17:53, 2 April 2016 (UTC)
- Shauna's Ivysaur looks good, I can mainspace that one shortly. As for the other three, I'd prefer to discuss with some other staff before making the final call on those. I don't know if they've done enough/have enough info to warrant splitting them off from their trainer's articles. --Pokemaster97 04:23, 3 April 2016 (UTC)
- Absolutly :) I'll stop plaguing you with it now Diamond Lanturn CodeName: 05308 07:44, 3 April 2016 (UTC)
Factoid Sections?
I noticed those factoid images that you have on the right side of your userpage. I was wondering how you added those to a userpage, as I was wanting some for mine. Can you please show how? Ericbazinga (talk) 20:31, 27 March 2016 (UTC)
- Those are called usertags, you can find a list of all of them by searching "Category:Usertags" in the searchbar. The way I had mine set up, I used a "userbox" coding to put them all into a column on the right side. A bit hard to explain with words, but if you view the source of my userpage, you should be able to replicate the style pretty easily. --Pokemaster97 20:45, 27 March 2016 (UTC)
Meyer's Blaziken
I have a page of Blaziken Mask's Blaziken premade as it belongs to a family member of a main character. Do you think it fits the notability requirements? Also, should the page if mainspaced be named Meyer's Blaziken or Blaziken Mask's Blaziken as Meyer went by two names? PattyMan 23:26, 28 March 2016 (UTC)
- While the page is nicely done, I don't feel that Blaziken has done enough for it to warrant it having it's own page. Besides battling, the most it did was jump around and save Ash from falling off of the building. I'd feel more comfortable waiting to see if Meyer and Blaziken will reappear again before making a final decision about the subject. As far as naming goes, Meyer's Blaziken would be the most appropriate, since Blaziken Mask is only an alias of Meyer, after all. --Pokemaster97 23:57, 29 March 2016 (UTC)
- I understand. I have a feeling that the duo might appear again someday. PattyMan 03:38, 30 March 2016 (UTC)
Hi, can you please take a look at the above linked template? This was previously created by bureaucrat User:Adyniz, but the current content does not seem to be valid Korean romanization. If this name was Korean, the correct romanization should be "Lee Haedong" (McCune–Reischauer system). That being said, I suspect this name actually belongs to a Chinese. In XY111 (list of anime staff), work for touchup animation was outsourced to Beijing Xiele Art Co. Ltd. (北京写楽美術芸術品有限公司) as reflected in the credits, and this particular name also appears amongst other Chinese personnel. Chenzw (talk) 12:33, 21 April 2016 (UTC)
- Sorry, forgot to mention this: the Chinese romanization for these characters is "Lǐ Haǐdōng" (Hanyu pinyin). Chenzw (talk) 12:35, 21 April 2016 (UTC)
- I've shared this information with one of our Chinese translators on staff. We'll be looking into this and share our findings with you as soon as possible. Thank you for bringing it to my attention. --Pokemaster97 20:11, 21 April 2016 (UTC)
- Odds are that it's Chinese. I've made the corrections. --超龍「Chao」 05:16, 22 April 2016 (UTC)
Usertag Pages
So, I want to create some usertags for me and others to use. I've seen others add pages to their userspace to make tags but I have no idea how to do that. Can you help please? Ericbazinga (talk) 21:17, 22 April 2016 (UTC)
- To create subpages in your userspace, you'd simply have to type the name of your desired page into the search bar and click "go". From there, there should be an option where you can create a userpage to work on your usertag. So for example, if you wanted to make a tag about someone who likes pudding, you'd title the page "User:Ericbazinga/UserPudding" or something along those lines. If you are asking me to get into the technicalities of creating the usertag itself, I can't help you much there as coding isn't really my forte. --Pokemaster97 21:39, 22 April 2016 (UTC)
Collapsible Tabs?
I'm working on my userpage whenever I can, and my current goal is to separate my gargantuan wall of usertags into collapsible sections.
The only problem is, every time I try to add recycled code for collapsible sections, it doesn't work.
Can you help please? Ericbazinga (talk) 17:53, 6 May 2016 (UTC)
- If you'd like you can copy the userbox on my userpage, just a heads up though, the box does not collapse when previewing the page. --Raltseye 22:59, 8 May 2016 (UTC)
