U-turn is a Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation IV that causes the user to automatically switch out after the attack. Its Japanese name can be translated as "Dragonfly Commute" (or "Dragonfly Return"), and it refers to both suddenly changing direction midway, and turning back soon after reaching a certain destination, as well as meaning somersault.
Effect
U-turn does damage, then switches the user out, unless the user is the only Pokémon that is able to battle.
