Amnesia (Japanese: ドわすれ Memory Lapse) is a non-damaging Psychic-type move introduced in Generation I.
Effect
Generation I
Amnesia increases the user's Special by two stages.
Generation II and on
Raises the user's Special Defense two stages instead.
Pokémon Rumble Blast
The user's Defense rises.

- Despite several Pokédex entries, especially in the anime, state that Psyduck can't remember while using mysterious power, it could not learn this move until Generation IV, except via a Pokémon Stadium Nintendo event.
