Stealth Rock (Japanese: ステルスロック Stealth Rock) is a Template:Type2 move introduced in Generation IV.
Effect
Stealth Rock sets a trap of levitating stones which damage Pokémon upon switching in. Stealth Rock is unique among the Spiking moves (see Spikes) because the amount of damage inflicted upon switching in is affected by type effectiveness. It also does not stack if multiple layers are set.
The damage is taken from the victim's maximum HP, and follows:
- 0.25× effective = 3.125%
- 0.5× effective = 6.25%
- 1× effective = 12.5%
- 2× effective = 25%
- 4× effective = 50%
