Trivia
- Seed Flare, Night Daze, and Smog are the only moves with a 40% chance of a secondary effect happening.
- Coincidentally, both Seed Flare and Night Daze are signature moves and debuted in anime movies.
- Seed Flare, along with Acid Spray, are the only damaging moves that have the secondary effect of lowering a certain stat by two stages.
- Interestingly, the affected stat in both cases is Special Defense.
- In Giratina and the Sky Warrior, Nurse Joy describes Seed Flare as a process in which Shaymin purifies polluted air it inhales in its body and then expels it in the form of light and water.
