Ramone (Japanese: リキオー Rikiō) is a recurring character of the Pokémon anime. He first appeared in Jostling for the Junior Cup!, where he participated in the Pokémon World Tournament Junior Cup and was Dawn's first opponent. However, he was defeated by her and eliminated from the tournament. He made a cameo appearance in Goodbye, Junior Cup - Hello Adventure!, where he lined up with all the other competitors in front of Alder, Cynthia, Caitlin and Freddy O'Martian.
He reappeared in BW103 to compete in the Higaki Conference. In BW104 he appeared on the screen showing the match-ups for the second round of the Conference, meaning he had made it through the first round. In BW105 he appeared once again on the screen of the Higaki Conference, now showing the match-ups for the last sixteen, meaning he had made it through the second and third rounds. In BW106 it was revealed he had made it through the fourth round as well. In the quarter-finals he battled Antonio and won. In the semi-finals he battled against Dino but lost, placing him in the Top 4. Afterwards he appeared once again in the closing ceremonies of the Higaki Conference.
