Treecko (Japanese: キモリ Kimori) is a Grass-type Pokémon. Along with Torchic and Mudkip, it is one of three starter Pokémon you can choose from at the beginning of Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Pokémon Emerald.
Treecko comes with the Ability Overgrow, which increases the power of Grass-type attacks by 50% once the Pokémon has less than one-third of its maximum HP.
Treecko evolves into Grovyle starting at Level 16, then into Sceptile starting at Level 36.

Treecko first appeared in AG001. Professor Birch was showing May the three Hoenn starter Pokémon and the Treecko creeped her out.
Ash Ketchum has a Sceptile that he caught as a Treecko in Tree's a Crowd. It evolved into Grovyle in Exploud and Clear, and in AG161, it evolved into a Sceptile.
A Nurse Joy was taking care of a Treecko, Torchic and Mudkip that a little girl named Stephanie was going to choose between as the first Pokémon as a Pokémon Trainer. Stephanie chose Mudkip, and Stephanie's dad decided to become a Pokémon Trainer with the Treecko as his first Pokémon.
A Treecko is also one of the hosts of the live-action series Pokémon Sunday.
