Solaceon Town is a quiet town east of Route 209.
The town is home to the Pokémon Day Care, located just north of the town center, where you can leave up to two Pokémon to gain experience over time.
If you leave a compatible male and female Pokémon (or a Pokémon and a Ditto) at the Day Care, they may produce an Egg.
After leaving a Pokémon at the Day Care, speak to the man at the entrance to receive the Pokétch app for the Day Care Checker.
In the east of town, a woman in a house will give you the Seal Case, used to decorate Ball Capsules and add flair to your Poké Ball throws.
A boy in the same house will give you Ball Capsules as you collect different Unown forms in the Solaceon Ruins.
He gives you one Ball Capsule for each new form you show him, up to 12 total.
From the boy in the far eastern house for showing him an Unown after speaking with him in the Solaceon Ruins (one each after showing 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 18, 22, 26, and 28 Unown forms)
The Solaceon Ruins are a multi-room cave complex east of Solaceon Town.
They are home to Unown, a Pokémon with 28 forms based on letters of the alphabet plus "?" and "!".
As you descend through the main path, each room contains a specific Unown form at a 100% encounter rate.
Side corridors lead to dead-end chambers containing other Unown forms at a much lower rate.
All 26 alphabetical forms can be found here, along with the "?" and "!" forms accessible via the Ruin Maniac Cave in Route 214.
A Ruin Maniac named Karl blocks the entrance area and will challenge you to a battle.
A colored background means that the Pokémon can be found in this location in the specified game. A white background with a colored letter means that the Pokémon cannot be found here.
The southern section of Route 210 runs north from Solaceon Town.
A group of Psyduck suffering from severe headaches are blocking the path to the north, making it impossible to pass through to the northern section of Route 210 or reach Celestic Town for now.
You will be able to clear the blockade later after obtaining the Secret Medicine from Cynthia.
For now, navigate through the south section and head east to reach Route 215.
A girl on the hill in this area will give you TM51 (Roost) x3.
A colored background means that the Pokémon can be found in this location in the specified game. A white background with a colored letter means that the Pokémon cannot be found here.
Near the Psyduck blocking the northern section of Route 210, you will find the Café Cabin.
Inside you can buy Moomoo Milk as well as defeat a few trainers.
Trainers with a Vs. Seeker by their names, when alerted for a rematch using the item, may use higher-level Pokémon.
Route 215
Route 215 connects Route 210 (South) to Veilstone City in the east.
It is always raining on this route, which boosts the power of Water-type moves and causes Thunder and Hurricane to never miss.
TM66 (Payback) can be obtained from a Black Belt before the second bridge.
TM34 (Shock Wave) is found in the grass in the south, past the tree that requires Cut.
A colored background means that the Pokémon can be found in this location in the specified game. A white background with a colored letter means that the Pokémon cannot be found here.
In the South, you will find the Metronome Style Shop that sells set of clothes for your character.
Further West, a girl in a house near the gym provides free daily massages for your Pokémon to increase their friendship.
You can obtain TM63 (Nasty Plot) ×3 by talking to the man outside.
The Veilstone Gym specializes in Fighting-type Pokémon.
The gym floor is covered in sliding panels that you step on to reveal new paths, requiring you to move strategically to reach the back.
Psychic-, Flying-, and Fairy-type Pokémon are effective against Fighting types.
Meditite's Pure Power ability doubles its Attack, making it far stronger than its level suggests.
Lucario is a Fighting/Steel-type, making it weak to Fire-, Fighting-, and Ground-type moves.
Upon defeating Maylene, you will receive the Cobble Badge and TM60 (Drain Punch) x5.
The Cobble Badge enables the use of Fly as a field move via the Pokétch, allowing fast travel between visited towns.
Trainers with a Vs. Seeker by their names, when alerted for a rematch using the item, may use higher-level Pokémon.
Inside the warehouse you will find TM94 (Fly), allowing to instantly go back to any previously visited city.
However a locked door inside the warehouse prevents you from continuing.
For now, go out and head south from Veilstone City to reach Route 214 and continue toward Valor Lakefront.
