After You (move): Difference between revisions

"After You" is both a more literal translation of お先にどうぞ and a more natural English expression. This translation added nothing but a misleading implication that the former is not the case.

After You (Japanese: おさきにどうぞ) is a non-damaging Normal-type move introduced in Generation V.

Effect

The target will move next on the current turn, ignoring priority. It bypasses accuracy checks to always hit, unless the opponent is in the semi-invulnerable turn of a move such as Dig or Fly.

After You fails if the target has already moved on the same turn, or if the order remains the same after using After You.

If powered up by a Normalium Z into Z-After You, the user's Speed stat raises one stage.
